Awsome protien shake

We stopped at "The Vitamin Shop" today will out running errands.   I was due for a mid-day snack, but didn't have anything with me.   I noticed they had some protein shakes in the cooler.   I bought a banana cream one - oh my oh my.   It tasted just like banana pudding with nilla waffers.  It was sweet tasting, so I wouldn't do it every day, but I think it would be a perfect replacement for dessert.   You know when my hubby is having some of the apple-berry crisp I make for him.   This would be my one protein -healthy snack for the day, and I wouldn't even miss the crisp.

It has milk protein and soy protein.  It uses sucralose (Splenda), so it has that slight aftertaste that Splenda gives you, but it sure is a treat.

Thats great!!!  I love inventing different protein drinks.. I have assorted flavors of DiVinci SF Syrups and mix up nice treats

While I try to make protein shakes, i always seem to never be able to get the ice from home to blend into a nice smooth consistency, however i think i found a cure for that.  I stopped by Sonic, and asked if they sell their ice- Nice little pellets-  and they do sell it.  for 1.39 a bag.  I bought one and it blends so much better.  On a side note I do love me some Tropical Smoothie.   There splenda less thena 200 Cal shakes are quite tasty.
I may have to try out that banana shake... it sounds pretty tasty

My NUT suggested this exact shake to all of us newbies. I went and bought one, but haven't tried it because I figured even if I didn't like it now, I might after surgery. So nice to hear that it taste good. I also bought one of the chocolate ones and strawberry one as well. Hope they are good!!! Anyways, the NUT said it was ok for us to drink one of those a day. woohoo! Also I happen to notice that they sale them in the commissary here at Oceana for alot less than the store.
