Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How's your week been? Ours has been pretty good. What's on the books for your Friday & weekend? Today is a 1/2 day for Kayla from school. Then our weekend begins. We've got a few things planned but otherwise we're going to play it by ear. Next week is Spring Break followed by Nora's 4th birthday next Sat, then Easter Sun. We'll be jam packed but wouldn't have it any other way.

I sincerely hope ya'll have the BEST Friday & weekend!

I have been doing and feeling great this week, well besides some allergies kicking my butt.   I am gonna make it til quiting time today at 3:00 and then I am gonna go hit the gym and do some walking.  My wife is the recreation coordinator for our homeowners association so we have an egg hunt scheduled for tommorrow so I will be hiding some eggs!

I hear you.   I am soooooo glad it is Friday.   I am still recovering from surgery (March 18th), and this week at work has been stressful.   We have some major issues with a customer we are trying to resolve, and everyone is work at break neck speed with lots of anxiety.   So this weekend I am taking for me.  It's supposed to be sunny and warm, so me and the hubby are going to go for some great outdoor walks.

Hope everyone enjoys the weekend.

Crazy week - My two year old woke up Sunday night with horrible cough and unable to catch his breath - had to call 911 and spent the night in the ER.  He had a bad case of the Croup, but his cough is now better.  Unfortunately, I think he picked up a horrible stomach bug in the Hospital so he has spent the past 2 days vomiting unable to keep anything down.  Luckily he's had a wet diaper every so often - I'm not sure if I could do another ER trip anytime soon (obviously I would take him if he needed it).   School is out  (Again) - I'm not sure they have gone a full week since Christmas LOL!  I'm hoping for a sunny weekend - we want to work in the yard, plus we have baseball practice, dog training and we are celebrating my youngest third birthday!

Off to get my dog out of the rain!!

Morning Beautiful!  Ran out of time this a.m. to post before I left home.  I did the early run the girlies in for school shift today.  My hubby was so tired & exhausted, I felt he needed the break.  My Thursday was pretty good.  Nothing eventful happened.  Not much really planned for today.  Work of course, think I will probably have some me time tonight as hubby & the youngest are going to try to get to the school soccer game (depending on the rain), the oldest is going home iwth a friend.  Tomorrow is soccer practice and a bday party for my 3 nephews.  Hubby's brother is in town so we will be seeing him too.  Sunday is soccer game and the weather is supposed to be lovely.  Hope you all have a great one!

Hey KK!!  Welcome back....I missed you.

My week so far?  Hmmm.  Kind of discouraging, really.  Having to re-evaluate my capabilities & trying to figure out how to keep my quality of life & spirits up without doing myself personal injury, i.e., heart stuff.  Do I give up horses all together & just accept that I probably will never be able to ride again?  Do I just HOPE that I can reach my weight loss goal with a minimum of physical exercise?  How to keep the depressions at bay?  So I've been doing a lot of thinking, soul-searching.  Seeing my cardiologist on Monday will help to clarify things more, but I'm not the most patient person in the world.

On a good note, I'm still losing & I'm still doing WiiFit, even if only a couple days a week.

I've been staying in close contact with some amazing women in my life & they help to keep me grounded.  Then, of course, there's my family here on OH that keep me going too, which is such a blessing.

I'm getting behind in making the heirloom crocheted lace tablecloth for my son's wedding gift.  The original pattern had a major flaw, so I purchased a couple of new patterns.  Tried the 2nd one...not so good.  So now I'm on my third pattern & I'm hoping this one will work.  Only have 3 months left to get it done...I hope I can make the deadline.

As for this weekend, the men are going to get fitted for their tuxes & I will be here at home slaving away on this tablecloth.  Not much more than that, really.  Maybe I'll go sit outside & work on it in the fresh air.  Maybe even talk Mike into going for a walk with me around the countryside.  Just feeling kinda blah so not much enthusiasm at this moment.  I think I'll have to apply the motto we have for the farm to my life here at home...No good plan will go unchanged!

Hugs!
Ann
