Despite the bad... there comes a wow!!

Today was the FINAL day that I had to do pre op things for my cardiac surgery. I had to go get an cardiac MRI, to check for myocarditis. Well....

I FIT INTO THE MRI MACHINE!!!

This time last year, or heck, even a few months ago, I know that I would not have been able to fit inside it. While I was scared to death, because I had never had one before, I just knew that I wasn't going to fit. I did, and after almost 2 hrs & 1000's of images, I made it in the machine and back out!

So even though I had to have the MRI because my heart isn't cooperating, it made me feel empowered to know that I am able to do one more thing that I couldn't have done pre WLS!

So now we are all set for surgery. I have to be there at 530, Monday, April 13. It's just a waiting game now!
