I'm having issues with getting anything other than decaf iced tea to stay down. Most things don't make it to my pouch before I am retching. I can't get any of my supplements to stay down also. I see Dr Mo on Wednesday. I'm getting to the point of feeling really weak. Prior to having this issue I was having difficulty with getting my protein to stay down, been work with different kinda and brands of protein. So any and all suggestions would be very welcomed.

Heide, I  hope you don't, but it sounds like you might have a stricture.  Pretty easily remedied, but you do need to see your surgeon.  Give him a call in the morning.  ~~Gail~~

Good am Heide,

I'm in agreement with the others here. Its a great thing you are seeing Dr. Mo on Wed. I've had 2 strictures & what you're dealing with resembles what I did as well. An Endoscopy can alleviate this situation along with meds such as Protonix (comes in liquid & pill form) to coat the esophagus and tummy in the months to follow the Endoscopy. The major concern here is dehydration which happens a lot faster and easier with post-ops. Please keep us posted.

All best!
