Insurance?

I'm new to this website, and I think its great. I want to have surgery but I don't think my insurance will cover anything. Has anyone had any experience with Coventry which is underwritten by Southern Health Services,INC? Any information would be helpful. Thanks fr reading.

No sorry I do not have your insurance co.    2nd name sounds familiar.  Hope someone can enlighten you.   You may want to directly ask your insurance co.

Welcome Cindy to the VA forum. Not sure about your insurance question. I did take a look at their website and it wasn't user friendly. You should call them to cure your curiosity and plus I want to know.lol It is always great to know who actually covers the surgery.  We are here to encourage you all the time. I see my surgeon on 4/13/09 and hopefully I will get a surgery date.

You would be best to call your insurance company and get pre-approved or at least find out if it is a covered expense. You don't want to get disapointed. Once I made my mind of to have the surgery, I called and found out I did not have coverage. I had to wait until my policy anniversary date to add the rider, which slowed down the process by 5 months.
