Tomorrow is my first real visit with the doctors there and im excited. I have my questions ready and hopefully it will all go well. I would love to have my surgery by june.. i wouldn't say that it is wishful thinking to have it that soon. it depends on your insurance..whether or not you have a supervised weight loss that you have to do. but i went to my first dr. appt on February 12th, had my preop testing on march 10 and am scheduled for surgery april 14. so...defenitely not out of the question...once they get the ball rolling..it goes pretty fast! :) another nice thing about their office.

I m 3 years post-op, Dr. Spencer was my Dr. he is great, his whole staff is awesome, from what I have seen. They are very helpful. I have never had a problem wih them. The support group meeting is good too. They are interactive and get people involved and encourage people to share their stories. I haven't been to a support group meeting in a long time. My mother is going to be having wls surgery too on April 8Th. So i will be attending some group sessions with her. If you have any questions i will be happy to answer the best i can. I remember what it was like to be in your shoes 3 years ago!!! You will love this new journey of you life!

I'm scheduled for RNY on 4/27 and Dr. Moore will be doing my surgery. I really like this man. He spoke @ the seminar I attended and I immediately liked him. He's just so down to earth. The whole staff has been extremely helpful & supportive. I'm glad to know someone else on the board that's using the Suffolk group. I was beginning to feel like a loner....lol. Best of luck to you on this journey and hopefully you'll have a date soon.
