I didn't have my surgery with them but I was going to before the military made me go through the military hospital. I had gone through all the classes and appointments and the support group meetings. I do know five people who went with them and they did a great job. My only concern is they dont seem to educate the people having the surgery as well as they did me with the military. Plus through the military we are watched for 2 years and with Harbor View the followup isnt that long. The support group was informative and everyone was really nice. Yeah for some reason the military sent me to harbor vview for it. Said that they were just too backed up and didnt have the staff..After surgery I wonder if I can switch to portsmouth for my follow up? Do you know if that is possible? I just want to make sure I have the best of care annd everything.

just wanted to let you know that i am having my surgery throught his office. my surgeon is dr. moore and i love him. he is very down to honest and isn't intimidating at all. everyone in the office really is there to help you through this journey. i have had nothing but good experiences so far. my surgery is scheduled for april 14, so i will let you know how the aftercare goes! but, i highly recommend them!
