I am going on 8 weeks and have lost only 29lbs.  I am really frustrated,  I thought the weight would come off faster.

Good am Debbie,

Could you tell us what your protein, fluids & exercise regimens are like? Are you getting in ample amounts of all? Have you been changing up your exercising? How about speaking with a nutritionist & following up with your surgeon's office for help?

I would suggest uping your protein intake, fluids intake & changing up exercising with of course permission on the exercising from your surgeon's office. In addition, weight loss occurs differently for everyone.

All best!

I am getting between 60-70gms of protein a day and at least 64 oz of fluids.  Maybe I need to change my exercise program.  I walk 1.5 miles then jog in a therapy pool for 30 minutes,  at least 5 days a week,.  I have had back surgery so exercise is a little limited.  Maybe I should add so weights

Thanks for your help

Sure thing! Try uping your protein, uping your fluids & YES to changing your exercise regimen! These 3 things certainly help. I've read & can testify to changing up exercising plans about every 4 weeks because our bodies get used to things so we need to change it up. Also, since you might have limitations due to your back surgery consider talking to someone perhaps a trainer about incorporating the weights you speak of. I can also testify to uping protein & fluids. I try to get in no less than 90-120 oz. of fluids. As for protein I can easily eat mine and in addition I drink 2 EAS AdvantEDGE protein drinks @ 17 grams each per day.

Hope this helps!

I completely second what Kat has said.  I also eat my protein but still have two shakes per day.

Sure thing!  Mixed emotions there...I LOVE being preggers and just want her to be healthy...she needs a couple more weeks to "bake"!
