You answered your question. You must stop eating carbs. Keep in mind it turns into sugar. Sugar makes us hungry.
There is no easy way you have to stop! 1) Start by no more white breads. only Whole wheat.. yeah yeah I know does not taste as good. 2) start counting your carbs. you must get back to 30 grams a week
Are you doing your protein shakes? Are you eating enough protein too? Drinking fluids? Sugar Free?
You may want to have a chat with your NUT for some help too. See the doctor for a fill??

I like wheat bread ok, and usually have it, but need to stick to it from now on.
I haven't been doing my protein shakes on a regular basis, probably 1-2 a day instead of 3. I try to drink and don't drink sugar sodas or anything.
I do have an appointment with the surgeon this next week. And I think i need to see the nutritionist again.

You probably need to rid your body of its carb craving rather than trying to cut them down gradually - and I only say that because carb cravings are so strong - - I recommend the 5 day pouch plan which will help you get rid of your carb cravings and then you can reintroduce healthy carbs on a controlled basis .... and you will probably lose weight on the pouch plan too which is encouraging as well....
