Welcome to Saturday!
Friday was pretty good for me. Work till 3 then off to the doctors. Finally got some blood work resylts back but still not a full answer. Labs came back fine but I either have an infenction or am in early labor. Then they called back and said they are sure I have an infenction and put me on antibiotics and said I may still be in the early stages of labor. So now I am in "take it easy mode"...officially! Stopped at the grocery store on the way home and grabbed a few things then Steve cooked dinner and we watched a movie. After that we walked to my moms house and visited with Fiona for a bit. Then it was home and off to bed early. I am not going to be helping Steve work anymore on the weekends until after Claire is born.. I will still be doing the billing, with his help, on Monday's and getting the returns on Sunday's until I can't do it anymore, safely.
On the books for today is a semi light one. There are some things that I MUST take care of so I need to get them done NOW just in case I am in early labor! I have to meet a friend for a cuppa this morning, pick up a present from another friend, go to babies r us and get a few things, head out to Costco and get a few more things and fill the van up with gas then have some lunch out in Short Pump with another friend that is in town. Later this evening I am having dinner with some fabulous connections/friends and going to listen to some music for a bit if I feel up to it. We will see how things go! One thing at a time and taking it easy. This is all in preperation for having tomorrow as a light day with only picking up returns and getting the billing together for Monday!
Hope your day is fabulous!

It is hard for most people to get them down when they first get home. It does get easier when you are a little farther out because you can have more variety. I advised freezing for about 45 minutes and making sort of a slushy and eating with a spoon. Don't beat yourself up if you can't get more than one in...just keep pushing and try your best. I had to do 4 a day for tow weeks...no other food source at all and I told myself to remember my research. If you do not eay then your body goes into starvation mode and begins to eat your muscles. You can not rebuild your muscles and your heart is a muscle! You are not there yet...but it was just my way of mentally forcing myself to drink them. I did pretty good getting in between 3 and 4 every day. Even now at almost 4 years post op I still have at least one protein drink a day! Good luck!
