This is FABULOUS news! I am so happy for you. Running calls for me is a great stress reliever and that can't hurt at all. Keep up with the exercise and WiiFit and you will be even higher than 48% before you know it!

Ann, this is fantastic news... that increase in your EF is just amazing and it will make all the difference in the world. When I worked in cardiology / electrophysiology at Mass General Hospital, we were one of the first place to use the implantable defibrillators. I ran a support group for families and patients and the fears/concerns they expressed were just like yours. But it saved lives, so that was better than the alternative. Those devices have come such a long way since I was there (back in the late 80's) and I love to see the good results that are still happening. I am so very thankful that you are improving and I know you are going to enjoy the independence that comes with this. Keep fighting, girl, and you are going to feel better every day! xoxo
