Good news!!!!!!
I had a follow up scope on Friday to check on my little buddy--the ulcer. I had been having some pain and was concerned that it was worse or perforated. Praise God... it's almost GONE! I am on a new medication...and I am very confident that the ulcer will be completely gone in the next few weeks. I will have an appt. with Dr. Mo at the end of March. After that appt, I will follow up with the GI guys and have another scope sometime at the start of April. As long as the ulcer is GONE...I will get to stop the TPN (that's the iv nutrition) and have the PICC line taken out.
I am going to leave the PICC line in for a little while after the TPN is stopped--just in case. But, I decided on Friday that I am no longer going to be sick...
I am NOT going to let that ulcer come back and I am going to get back on track to getting to my goal weight. I have faced a lot of obstacles but, this one is going to stop NOW.
I am missing too much time and LIFE with my family and my friends. I want to reach my goal weight and have another baby. I want to GO places without having to worry about whether or not the local hospital will be equipped to handle my issues, etc.
Your prayers and support and love mean more to me than any of you could possibly imagine. I am at a loss for words when I think about how each and every one of you are such a part of my heart. I hope and pray that I get to meet each and every one of you. I have met many of you already and my family feels so blessed by all of you.
Continued prayers are SO appreciated and welcome. I feel them and so does my family. I love you all!
