Prissy thank you for the welcome home and it does feel better to be home. You are right things are a little confussing and it will get better. So much happened and I am still trying to gasp all of it. I am not going to give up and will fight to the bitter end. Things are tough right now trying to figure out what to eat and how much. They want me doing 2000 calories and yesterday the best I did was 1500 to 1600. I pretty much stayed full all day and that was nice. I go to see my pcp on Wensday and we will have a talk and see about switching my insulin since we know for sure that I am not digesting my food the way it is supposed to do. I need a insulin that will work with the way my stomach does. I will pm you in a little while.

Pat, I am so glad you are home. I am sorry I did not post to Kat's post, I have been so busy, but I keep you in my prayers.  What a scary event you went through.  I agree with Theresa, see an endo about the diet, they will be able to assist you with setting up something to your needs.

Thank you and yes I am doing better and it is a slow process and I will make it. It was and I will be better because of it.
