Guess who's on Mushies???
Congrats to both of you, Michelle & Heide! Mushies are wonderful.
I passed this little hint to Heide, but I don't think I've mentioned here, on the open board, for a long time. You can pre-plan your mushies & freeze in ice cube trays. Each cube equals 1 tablespoon. I pureed meat, chicken, veggies, & fruits...did a tray for each one. Once they were frozen good & solid, I popped them out of the trays & into ziplock bags. Then when I needed one, just pulled from the bags. The meats defrost & heat up nicely in the microwave. The fruits I let sit in a small bowl for a few minutes to defrost.
Other yummy mushies, at least for me, was pureed cauliflower, or brocoli, or carrots, or peas. Oatmeal or cream of wheat. Egg salad...I STILL love it!! Mashed nannahs.
