I am either losing my mind from lack of calories (still in liquid stage) or I'm practicing the SECRET.  Yesterday I changed my signature to reflect my information.  This morning when I looked back on a thread to see someone's reply - I notice I had changed all my numbers to 2 somethings instead of three somethings.   I guess this is why they don't want you operating a motor vehicle for the first two weeks!!  It reminds me of the first few weeks after having a baby.  I recently found a breastfeeding log ( I was a little neurotic with the first)  from when my 8 year old was a newborn and all the dates were february - he was born in november!!!

I think this will pass once I am moved onto mushies  - which will hopefully be TOMORROW!!!!  I think I need a few more calories for my brain to work properly!

Hee, Hee Michelle,
Well if you did not catch it and kept on doing things backward, it would be even funnier. It feels so good to laugh at yourself sometimes. We have the same doctor, they are really nice. How was your hospital stal and rooms, nursing staff etc...

It was very nice and everyone was very helpful.  My husband stayed with me during the day and helped me with most of my needs - they were ready to hire him!  But I found most to be very helpful.  The head of Bariatric Nursing - you probably met her - was in my room several times to check on me and talk to me to see if I needed anything or had any questions.  If you have any questions AT ALL - please e-mail me and I will be glad to share!!  You'll do great!

You are just itching to be a century club member!  Glad you caught it.  I am going to do a breast feeding log at least for a few weeks...I guess I am a little neurotic, too!

Michelle, I know the feeling of lack of calories, I find myself doing the strangest thing. I put my remote in the freezer, I guess I did it getting a sugar free popsicle. I am also hoping that tomorrow whe I see Dr.Mo that I get to move on to the mushies. I want other flavors, I'm so sick of broth.LOL You are doing so well with losing. I haven't weighed myself as of yet I will do it tomorrow and then at Dr Mo's so I can compare the two scales.

Hey Surgery Buddy

I definately need a variety in flavors.  I have basically been on cream of wheat and water/protein.  Luckily, I don't find myself really craving anything or missing certain foods - I would just like something warm and savory.  I'm sure I'll be crazy by the end of mushies, but right now I am ready for it.  Thanks for the comment on losing.  First of all - I am a scale fanatic. In the past I found when I am doing well, I weigh daily - If I'm avoiding the scale - that means I am not eatting the way I should.  It didn't affect what I did but was an indication -if I weigh or not - HOW I was doing.  I do admire your self restraint!!!!

As far as how much I've lost - I don't want to downplay the loss - A loss is a loss and I am grateful for it.  But for me personally - the weight loss will be more of a personal victory when I am actually eating more than 200 calories a day and making good food choices along with the exercise.  Plus I think the saying "It's not what you weigh - it's how you feel" is true for me.  I've been this weight a couple of times but it was with alot of exercise so I was actually smaller in size.  I think once I am exercising and eating right, I will feel better and thus feel more accomplished in what I've lost.   Of course I'm not giving that loss away!!!!

Good luck at your appt tomorrow - mine is tomorrow also and I look forward to what they have to say!
