It's one or the other....
I think this will pass once I am moved onto mushies - which will hopefully be TOMORROW!!!! I think I need a few more calories for my brain to work properly!

Hey Surgery Buddy
I definately need a variety in flavors. I have basically been on cream of wheat and water/protein. Luckily, I don't find myself really craving anything or missing certain foods - I would just like something warm and savory. I'm sure I'll be crazy by the end of mushies, but right now I am ready for it. Thanks for the comment on losing. First of all - I am a scale fanatic. In the past I found when I am doing well, I weigh daily - If I'm avoiding the scale - that means I am not eatting the way I should. It didn't affect what I did but was an indication -if I weigh or not - HOW I was doing. I do admire your self restraint!!!!
As far as how much I've lost - I don't want to downplay the loss - A loss is a loss and I am grateful for it. But for me personally - the weight loss will be more of a personal victory when I am actually eating more than 200 calories a day and making good food choices along with the exercise. Plus I think the saying "It's not what you weigh - it's how you feel" is true for me. I've been this weight a couple of times but it was with alot of exercise so I was actually smaller in size. I think once I am exercising and eating right, I will feel better and thus feel more accomplished in what I've lost. Of course I'm not giving that loss away!!!!
Good luck at your appt tomorrow - mine is tomorrow also and I look forward to what they have to say!
