Welcome to Tuesday!
Monday was a mixed bag for me. Anthem NEVER closes so I got up at normal time to go and do the first round of billing. Steve got home and said the roads were really bad and that he had almost ended up in the ditch twoce on 95 so we decided he would drive me after work and we would do it all at once. Well, lo and behold...Anthem closed! The last time that happened was when they closed early when Hurricane Isabel came thru. I can't remember the time before that! So I had a relaxing morning and enjoyed cuppas with my dad and Steve and Kara slept in. Actually, she went back to bed because she was up with me at 4 AM! I finally left the house about 11 to go and do the billing and got all the stops complete and home by 2:30. There were two stops that I could not do (one was closed and the other did not have a DSD receiver there) so they will wait until next week. Then it was home to play in the snow. Steve had gotten the four wheelers out and we all rode and had a blast. We came in, thawed out and had hot chocolate then went back at it again! It was so much fun...all being together and watching my dad on the four wheeler having so much fun. Memories to treasure! We had several rounds of in and out and finally snuggled in to watch a movie. After that it was off to bed. Steve had to get up early...early papers again...so I actually got a little extra sleep.
As for today...nothing major planned. I fully expect work to be open but on the off chance I get lucky and prayers are answered I will call and check in a bit. I have gotten all of the laundry done for now so other than work and sorting baby clothes by size to wash and put away I have nothing planned. I am sure if there is any snow left that we will be playing tonight, too. Steve will be cooking dinner...it's his turn!

Life could not get any better than this!
Monday was a sick day in our house. Poor kid couldn't go out and play in the snow. He has a temperature and upset stomach. We spent the day in jammies. I did some cleaning and he played his xbox360. If he is feeling better today I will send him outside. Sunday night we were able to get out and build a snow man.
We finally got a new computer. Ours died and not being able to pop online was a real hassle. I love my new computer.
lys, I am sorry to hear your mom is in the hospital. I will pray for her and the rest of your family.

Yesterday was a shock indeed...but it was much needed! I really had a wonderful day. We built snowmen, played n the four wheelers, took the dogs for a walk (two of them had to hop b/c it was over their heads!) and had lots of sugar free hot choc with mini marshmellows. henrico schools are closed, too...Kara got up to see me off to work then announced she was going back to bed! Steve is home and doing some honey-do list items.
Glad you got a new computer...I want a lap top but it is not in my near future. Maybe for Christmas this year...we will see!
Anthem is up and running at regular time...I am at my desk now. Tons of people have called in sick but I am not one to do that unless absolutely necessary. I am trying to save my time for when I am out of work with Claire!
Hope both you and Alex are feeling better today...I'll say some extra prayers!

I know all too well how much it sux when the 'puter craps out!! So good for you getting a new one. Don't know what we'd do with out our Miss Brooke (yes, pun intended, though you're prolly too young to know what I'm talking about...lol).

Tammy, I remember being pregnant & I just don't know how you do so much. I was a healthy, strong gal when I had mine, but I don't think I could have kept up the schedule that you have.
Lys, I hope your Mom is well soon. Give her little hug for me too when you see her.
Courtney, glad you got to go in late & leave early yesterday. Mike got the same deal...he actually got home before dark!
As for me...it's a misserable Tuesday for me. Woke up at 3 am sneezing & hacking my head off. It's official....I'm sick! To top that off, Mike had to take my truck to work again cuz the battery in his car is dead. So, I've rescheduled my dental appointment for next week Tuesday & the boys are gonna go shopping for a new battery & get an oil change done. I'm gonna stay hunkered down with my good tissue, lots of fluids, Advil cold & sinus, & just rest. We're supposed to be going to Gettysburg this weekend for a cavalry meeting, plus it's my birthday weekend, so I don't wanna miss any of it.
