TV is advertising the Magic Bullet at a discount, offering 2 complete systems for the price of one plus S/H.  I know many of you have one of these systems...is it worth it?  Do you use it often?  Are you glad you bought it?

Thanks!

Hugs!

At the time, right before surgery I bought two to use as a blender and for my shakes -  I gave one tio a friend - nowadays I barely use it as I am 3 years out but at the time I used it extensively - would not have been able to get through the first few weeks without it...

we got one as a wedding gift & use it frequently.  Wish I had one when I was first out of surgery.  Great for the family, we do smoothies & such.

I had one right after surgery... it was a godsend then. I'd highly recommend it. I mostly used it to puree stuff, meats etc. It was also not bad for protein shakes, though they did come out somewhat foamy.

However, I'd be leery of buying anything from an infomercial. From what I hear, you're better off to just go get one in a store (Target sells them... they have a whole display of As Seen On TV stuff, I think it's generally in the housewares type section). By the time they stick you for shipping and "handling", you end up paying full price for the second anyhow.

Here's a website with some reviews.

(I'm a sucker for anything from TV, but rarely buy it because the stuff never works like they say. :) )

Hmmm...very good point, Julie.  Thanks for sharing.

BTW, how'd your meeting go with your folks?  Get everything ironed out?

Hugs!

I bought my "buy one/get one" from an infomercial and requested a discount on the shipping and actually got it free.  I still use mine now...much smaller so it takes up less space on my small kitchen counter and works great for the whole family.  You also do get quite a few free extra goodies this way.  It just all depends on what you are looking for.
