Update on Liver Problems

Hello Everyone,  I got the results of my labs and sonogram on Friday and the specialist said that everything is back to normal.  He believes that the high liver function labs were due to my body adjusting to insulin from having the surgery.  I was diabetic and on pills and insulin before having the surgery and have not had to use any medication or insulin since leaving the hospital.  He also said that I was probably malnourished at the time I had my labs done.  He wants me to make sure to eat and drink enough to stay nourished and he is going to have Dr. Moazzez send him copies of my labs everytime to keep track of my liver function.  He said I will probably see fluctuations again, but don't be alarmed.  Thank you all for your prayers, I really appreciate it.

Thank you everyone for your support and prayers.  I was very relieved to get the good news.  Now all I need is to find a job as the government contract I was working on was won by a new vendor.  So as of today I am unemployed and haven't been able to find anything as of yet.  Always something going on.  This too shall pass, hopefully sooner than later.

Good luck with the job serach...it is rough out there.  My hubby has not worked in almost a month!  He does not get unemployment either!

Thanks Tammy, I've been aggresively looking for a few months and have found nothing yet.  Good luck to your husband also, as you said it is very tough out there today.
