Welcome to Sunday

I am going to post this just a bit early...it is almost Good Sunday AM everyone!  How are you?  How was your Saturday?  Anything special planned for your Sunday?

We had one of the best Saturday's EVER!  It was baby shower day!  I got to my cousins house (location for the big event) a little early and everything was absolutely beautiful!  There was fruit and yummy goodies to eat...I had to graze a lot just to have some of everything!  I loved it all.  There were so many people and we were truly blessed with everyone that came and also with those that could not come but were with us in thought and prayer.  Helen, a friend and fellow WLS patient, took pictures for me so I will have them posted as soon as I can.  She is also doing my mommy to be shots so I will get them up here soon.  After the shower it was off for cuppas at da buck.  After several hours of good convos and laughs we went to dinner and had more fun times.  Then it was home for a small bit before heading to work in the rain. I heart the rain...just would rather not work in it if I can!

As for toady...sleeping in is part of the plan then off to church (no Sunday School for me today!) then off to get returns and a quick trip to the grocery store.  AFter that I will be settling in to watch the race and get the billing straight for tomorrow morning.  If the weather cooperates then Steve, Kara and I will be going to pick up the crib to set it up...if not then as soon as the weather breaks.  We have everything we need to set it up...just waiting on being able to get it here and then the nursery is complete!  There are a few things left to get but thanks to some gift cards...we will have all we need by this weekend.  I will be putting things away and finishing washing all the clothes this week...hopefully posting pictures soon!

glad to see some friends yesterday...great time...my mother has been admitted to hospital (she's 87) with pneumona...send prayers if you could..lys

Special plans today include laundry, chores, enjoying the rain/sleet and hopeful visit from the Snow Fairy & enjoying my 2 beautiful buggas.

Saturday was jam packed day filled with much emotion for me. I absolutely enjoyed time in the am out and about getting a few errands done. Later, the shower was great followed by cuppas & dinner. It was a blessing to be surrounded by some wonderful folks.

This pm we're comfy & cozy watching movies & enjoying what comes our way. All best!

We just got home from picking up returns and some SERIOUS snow play.  YAY!!!  The snow fairy did not pass us over this time.  <>  I am praying for safe travel tonight for Steve and then again tomorrow for us both as we do billing.  Of course, safe travel for everyone that is on the roads.  Hoping that work will open late...but it is doubtful.  They never do that!  Yesterday was a blessing and some much needed time with some wonderful friends.  I am glad you and the buggas were there.  Love you!
