anyone had VSG wls??

looking for info on a wlcenter in VA where they do the  sleeve 

I did.  My surgeon was Dr. Moazzez and he does the sleeve and a fine job on it he did.  LOL

Dr Moazzez has a excellant reputation as a general surgeon.  He is very caring and is hands on.  .  Fair Oaks Hospital and its bariatric department is the best in the No VA area.    1st rate followup with their patients.       Jocklyn and I have had great results.   

 Yes    you guys wl is looking good !     Did your insurance cover the surgery ?  If so how long did it take to get approved?

Yes, insurance paid both of our surgeries.  It took 2 weeks for me to get approved from the date they sent my paperwork.

I have Federal BCBS.   Doctors office call and was approved in less than 5 minutes.  

Federal plan has been accepting the sleeve for over a year now.   Not all insurances are accepting the sleeve yet.   But seeing more and more coming aboard

What type of surgery are you considering?

I had VSG and love it! I am a military dependent so I had my surgery at  Portsmouth Naval Hospital
