Where did the weekend go??? How was your weekend? Do anything special? Anything planned for today?

I was a lazy bumm most of the weekend. I stayed either in bed or on the sofa ALL day on Saturday! I just wasn't feeling right so I just took some down time. On Sunday I went and got returns and then came home, did some laundry, watched the race and vegged. Again, nothing special and nothing strenous. I was still not feeling 100%.

I am up and at 'em now and sipping on a cuppa. Getting ready to go and do the billing as soon as Steve gets back with my Sunday numbers. After that it will be off to the day job then finishing the PM round of billing before heading back home. Typical Monday for me...tiring and L-O-N-G!

Hope you all have a fabulous day and week. I am about to get cuppa # 2 started!

Morning Beautiful! My weekend was pretty good. Spent most of Saturday being lazy myself which was nice. Headed out Saturday evening for a daughter/mother dinner with my mom and then we headed to a candle party together. Ended up bringing two of my nephews home for a sleepover. Sunday was full of kids and fun, took my nephews out to breakfast and then bowling. Was pretty worn out afterwards so I just did a chill/relax evening at home with my family. So not ready for it to be Moday yet. Nothing really planned today other than work. We may go check out another house. Still waiting for word on the one we put an offer on but we continue to look in case we find something we like better. Have a great one!!

Good morning, beautiful! Glad you got to have the nice and relaxing weekend, too. Sometimes I think we all need it! Bowling sounds fun! I have not done that in ages. I think I might give it a try soon. It is actually on the "approved" sports list for me right now. Not sure my back would like it...but it is worth a try! Good for you for looking at other houses, too. I know you will find the one that is made for you and your family. I continue to pray for you. I think we should change every other work week to a five day weekend! That would be too good to be true! Have a fabulous day!

This weekend and today I find to be rather cold. I was not feeling good all weekend long so I took some thera-flu slept most of saturday, celebrated my husband birthday on Sunday. I felt so bad because I was not up to going out, but he is so understanding. Did not get much sleep last night thinking about my up coming surgery, felt a little anxious then started praying and thingking on positive things. Greatful for my family and this board. Now I have to play school bus and take my daughter along with a couple of other girls to school, it is just up the street however they are just to cute as they say to walk in the morning, after all they are all tweens, go figure. So I get to listen to "oh my gosh, and like did you ever, how do you like my new this or that, or what did you do to your hair" the best part is the laughter and funny jokes and trying to trip me up with words that they think I dont understand. Oh and did I mention my surgery is all that I have been talking about lately to my family, I mean does this self center, self me ever stop?

You are too funny! Yep, the self centered, self me does stop...but enjoy it while you can. This is YOUR time and you need to live it up. Happy belated b-day to your hubby. Must have been something going around on Saturday...I felt horrible, too! I am feeling better today but am tired...my morning started at 3 AM! I love those tween stages and when they think you don't know what they are saying. I am usually the chauffer to all of my daughters friends (and I prefer it that way!) and when we go out and I put in a Kid Rock CD or a country CD or whatever and start singing to the song her friends are floored. They are like "how does a mom know THIS song!". It cracks me up! I treat all of her friends like they are my kids, too. I am glad you are praying about the surgery. I know you are anxious...but it does pass. You have your head in the right place! I am glad you came to this board and am glad you have the support you need both at home and here.

Good Sunny Monday to you!!!
God does provide. Over the weekend I received a pay now letter. When I called the business to have them reconsider placing me on their pay plan, they agreed. This is something I fretted about all weekend. Now, I can breath a sigh of relief. With this second chance, I have to make it right. I am expecting some blessings this week, so this is a relief also.
In a few I'll be heading to work. Yesterday at work, we spent most of the ay cooking. The folks at the group home love to hang out in the kitchen and cook. We made chili, blueberry muffins and chocolate pudding with strawberries. In the afternoon we took a walk in the neighborhood and watched a movie. When they have a great day, I have a great day.
Have a great day. My goal this week is to get to the gym three times this week. Tuesday. Thursday and Saturday...kick me if I forget.

It is a beautiful sunny Monday! I am loving the sunshine coming thru the windows! Sounds like you have a fabulous Sunday. Cooking with the residents sounds like such fun. Yes, prayers are answered and I am glad you were able to get on the pay plan. I have set up a few of those myself, too! Great goal for the week...I will be praying you make it!
