As a 30+ year Navy wife I can tell you that many times if the service member is delayed deploying due to a family emergency they can join the ship/sub later, so all is not lost on that count. Many times they can fly them out to the ship or to a port where the ship is due to pull in. Of course it will depend on how Jamie is if he is able to leave her, but it is not impossible.

Jamie, I kow you are not here to read this post but I am so glad you did go and seek help and that they can now adjust your medications in a controlled environment - where they will make sure you do not harm youself too.

Once all that is done you will feel less overwhelmed and able to accept the surgery and its way of life.

You have a great friend who is keeping us posted on you and we are all here for you. Feel free to reach out to any one of us.....
