Try to take some time for you and get some rest I know that it is hard but you need to do it for yourself. If you need anything please just say it and someone will be there for you.

Hi everybody!  Wednesday was fairly uneventful, but today's been a bit exciting.  Mike, my hubby, had eye surgery & all went well.  He's resting comfortably in his recliner, watching "The Hulk" with his good eye.  Tomorrow he goes back to see the doctor & get the eye patch removed.

I'm concentrating on taking care of Mike, & planning stuff for the weekend.  Our youngest son, the bridegroom-to-be, Chris, & his fiancee will be here for the weekend, beginning tomorrow night.  Nino's gonna make his fabulous shrimp alfredo & chicken alfredo for dinner tomorrow night.  Saturday we all make the pilgrimage to Richmond for a wedding...the one that I worked so hard on the flowers for.  Will drive back home afterwards.  Don't know what we'll be doing on Sunday, if anything.  Frankly, Courtney's bubble bath sounds fabulous!!  I wonder if I could get away with just staying in the tub the whole day.  Heard of breakfast in bed...how 'bout breakfast in the tub? LOL

So many of you are in need of love, prayers, support.  You got it all!!

Hugs!
Ann

Staying in the tub all day sounds fabulous!  You just need either a hot tob or an endless supply of ho****er!  I am seriously considering a long soak in the tub tonight myself.  I am hving back aches so the warm water should help!  Enjoy your visit with your son and soon to be d-i-l!  Glad Mike is doing well.

Hi Tammy,
Thank you for keeping up with the postings. When you have the baby, I would be glad to stand in for you until you are able to take over.
Wednesday was take time out for "me" day. With my operative knee hurting as it was, I took the day off. Spent time elevating my knee, icing it and taking pain meds. By the afternoon, the pain lessened but the stiffness was definately there. I was able to work at the UVA/Virginia Tech Basketball game...with much standing. This morning, the knee was stiff but I was ready to return to work.
Before going to work this morning, I met two friends for prayer and breakfast. It was nice to be with them.
Friday will include a long awaited dental appointment.  Following knee surgery I had to wait three months before scheduling an appointment. From there, I will hit the gym. In the evening I will be working at Larry and the Cable Guy show. Not too much into him, but the money will be good.
  To all...have a great weekend.
   Peace,
   Cindy

Cindy,

Gald you were able to have the day on Wednesday for a "me" day.  I think we should all have one of those soon.  Sorry your knee is still stiff and bothersome but I think in the long run it will be much better for you.  Time is on your side.  Hope all goes well with the dental appointment.  I know what you mean about waiting to schedule the appointments...I had to wait until after Claire is born to have my next appointment...almost a month late from my usual six month checkup.  I am one of those that would go to the dentist for weekly cleanings if my insurance would cover it...I heart going so much!  It would be great if you would take over the posts while I am "out on maternity leve"!  I am not sure how long I will be out of commission...but I am sure it weill be several days at the least.  Thanks for offering!

Tammy,
You are welcome. The dental visit calls for a $1000 gold crown in the near future. Have to pay half up front.
  Have a great weekend.
