Good morning! How was your Wednesday? Anything special on the books for Thursday?

Wednesday was great for me. I had my annual review at work and got extremely high marks, especially for someone that was not in the department for a full year. I have only been there for 7 months of review time. I am not sure still about the amount of my annual raise, but I hope it is good. We probably won't get bonuses this year...but one can hope, right??? I came home at 5 and we grabbed dinner really quick. After that it was off to the hospital for a class and then home to go to bed. I have been really tired a lot lately and last night/this morning are no different. Kara chilled with us in our room for a bit before we all crashed.

Today is much of the same. Work till 5 then dinner and a load or two of laundry. Steve will be taking care of some things on his "list" and hopefully I can get to bed early. I won't sleep early...but maybe I can at least rest. We got a blessing in the mail yesterday so I am sending Steve grocery shopping, too. He is usually a very thrifty shopper and looks for the deals. It is really hard right now because he has not worked at all this week and also missed three days last week. There is no check for him at all and I still have to send his child support check off,t oo. Prayers would be nice!

Good morning. Wednesday, as you all read, was not a good day for me. I'm still in shock and not finding much place for my emotions. I want to get through next Wednesday and find out how they will do things before I start panicing.

I suppose today I will probably do more thinking, which is going to be my downfall. I want to get some things cleaned and go through so much stuff to get rid of. Cam is going to try school again today. He went yesterday but was a bit too weak to stay all day. Maybe today.

Hope things turn around for Steve and you. The added stress of finances is not something you need. Just count to 10, or 100 and breath deep.

Hope everyone has a good day and prayers going out for everyone who needs them!

I am glad that you are trying to focus on things now and not panic too much until next Wednesday. I know it is easier said than done but now is the time to enjoy life and time with Cam. My dad having recently gone thru open heart surgery gives me a "leg up" on what recovery is like and some of the things you will be going thru. I have faith that you will do fine. Remember...He has a plan already in place for you! Let me know what you need and I will do what I can to help. I have been sorting and disposing of a lot of things, too. We are changing the attic into our room (it is a finished bedroom already, we just use it for storage) and making our room one for Claire. Kara wanted to stay where she is at now. It is packed full so we are taking it one day at a time! No hurry since there is already another room almost ready for Claire and she will be in our room for at least 6 months anyway. I am glad Cam went back to school. He will be weak for a long time but he is strong and trying to go is the best thing for him right now. Even if he can't make it all day...at least he is attempting! Maybe today.

Morning Beautiful!! Glad to hear your day went well & that you are getting that much needed rest. My day at work was stressful as usual but I made it. We are going to be hiring another secretary so hopefully it will get better soon. I just keep taking it day by day to get through and focusing on relaxing/destressing as needed. Had some kid difficulties too. So hubby was stressed. We are working on not taking it out on each other that way we can be the strength we need to be. Had a quiet evening that ended with a nice bubble bath for me & early to bed. Up & getting ready for a new day, got a game plan for getting things accomplished at work & tonight we get the girlies. Hope you have a great one!!

Good morning beautiful! Today is starting out great but I am still tired. Although I got to bed at a decent time I still did not sleep all that well. I am looking forward to Saturday morning when I can sleep in some. I know all about the stresses at work...glad they are hiring another secretary and pray it does get better for you. Day by day is all you can do. I'm saying prayers for you and hubby because I know that the kid difficulties are just in the beginning stages! I go thru them myself quite often...but they come and go. Kudos to you both for realizing that you are taking it out on each other and taking steps to change that. Be strong and stand united! A bubble bath sounds nice and relaxing...I may have to borrow that idea for tonight with my candles and all! Have a fabulous day!

Good morning everyone today I am getting the girls off to school then head on back to the hospital to visit Jackie. She is in so much pain and my heart hurts for her. I wish that I could take the pain for her but they isn't realistic. I know God is on the throne and my faith is being tested and I I know who holds tomorrow and where my strength comes from so I just fall on my knees and cry out to the Lord for all of you who have asked for prayer. Sometimes we feel like why God is this happening to me, and we have to say Lord you know what is best for me, and you are beside me all the way. I have gotten closer to the Lord through all my trials. I don;tblame him for things that happen in my life or my family, I just keep praying and waiting for him to do his work.
I pray that all those who post or just those that read the post that you all have a great day. I am here for you all.
