It's Totally Tuesday!

Good Morning!  How was your Monday?  What's in the works for your Tuesday?

I managed to get a lot accomplished but also left a ton of other things to be done as well.  I went to work with Steve so I could start the billing.  We got home about 4:30 and I left again at 5 to fini****  I got home about 9 and laid down for an hour before getting up to take the dogs to the vet. After that I dropped Kara off at the movies and did some errands and filled the van up with gas.  Came home and did some laundry and was getting ready to start dinner when my daddy called and wanted to take us all out.  So, out we went and had burgers and good convos.  We also went to get his gun from the gunsmith where he was having it repaired.  They have had it for almost 5 months!  After that I finished the paperwork and the computer stuff then promptly climed into the bed with Steve, the dogs and a movie.  Of course I crashed long before it was over so I will try again with that one soon...maybe tonight.

On the books for today is much of the normal.  I am back to work (yesterday was a holiday for us) and then home to do more laundry (it never ends!) and cook dinner.  Steve did have a meeting with his boss and he will be lucky to get 2 days a week right now, probably more like 1 day worth of work.  There just isn't anything in the construction industry.  I am getting super nervous with Claire coming and not having enough money.  I just keep praying and believing that God will provide all that we need as He has always done.  The stress is giving me headaches and making me more tired than usual so I will be trying to take it easy and go to bed early as much as I can.  I have given Steve a honey-do list of things I want accomplished and he is doing things as he can.  I know his back and neck hurt badly so I am not expecting miracles but there are things he can do a little bit at a time.  He is being awesome and doing them for me!

Well, off to work I go!  Have a blessed and fabulous day!

Morning!  Boy I wish I had a few more days off of work and didn't have to go back yet.  Yesterday was pretty laid back.  Did some chores, ran some errands, but nothing major.  Today is work & then get the girlies for the night.  Hoping that work goes a lot better this week than it did last week.

I did find out over the weekend that my 15 year old cousin was rushed to the er, then flown to a different hospital, on Friday due to fluid on his lungs, kidney & liver not functioning.  It has been touch and go all weekend.  As of last night he was doing a little bit better, they think he has a strep infection, but still not out of the woods yet.  Please say some prayers.

I am with you on wishing I had a few more days off!  I need a month off just to get things accomplished!  Steve being out of work for a bit is enabling me to make him lists and having him do some of the things...I had forgotten how good it is to delegate things instead of doing them all myself...and he made great progress over the weekend.  I have been bugging him to finish the nursery and if all keeps up it will be ready by this weekend and waiting on the bedding and things that we will get at the shower.

I will be praying for your nephew.  I am sorry that your family is having to go thru this.  Keep us updated and let me know if I can do anything!

Enjoy your day off from the gym.  We all need a break sometimes.  Hope the knee feels better, soon.  I used to miss taking Motrin, too...but found I love my new lifestyle even more than missing that!  Hope you have a safe and fabulous day.  Tell SEB I said hello!

Hi everyone. It has been awhile since I have posted on the boards. I was missing everyone.
The last few days have been great. Work is going well and life outside of work has been great, also. Yesterday we took the folks from the group home out for lunch. They had the day off. For the first time since having the knee replacement, I got in to the van putting all the weight on the new knee. There was a slight twinge of pain, but I was able to do it. Today the knee was more stiff, but I felt great.
For the past week, I have been totally off my diet. I am not sure why. Last week I craved carbs and protein. The protein was great...my knee is still healing. The carbs included cookies, donuts, junk food and candy. The stress of financial problems could be the trigger. i have also not had my monthly. It should have come in early February. I also missed in December. Could I be going through the change of life? I am only 48, and the onset is 52...but who knows.
Today work announced that layoffs will begin before July, 2009 and continue in the new fiscal year. So may be work and life outside of work have not been so great. It is time to come back to the boards. Thank you for listening.
  Peace and prayers!!

I have been thinking about you and wondering where you have been!  Glad you are here and everything is OK.  I will be praying for you and hope that the "twinge" feeling gets better with time.  Also praying you get back on track with eating.  I know about the stress eating.  It has affected me to a point...but I am trying to reel it in!
