Anxiety
No help here, I was not nervous or anything, sorta like a robot going through the motions. For me it all happened so fast, I didn't have time to think about it or try and talk myself out of it. I was ready and could not wait to try and become what I call normal.
I had met another guy that had the surgery and after meeting him, it was no question that this was the right thing to do.

I have anxiety problems as it is. I have learned to embrace it and use it for my andvantage. I think clearer and work harder. But I do have my tipping point and some wonderful meds to help me in those rare instances. But during mypro op stage right before surgery, it was really bad. But I made it through. I actually have found my anxiety has gotten better since surgery!!

This happens to lots of folks preop! It was not an issue for me personally. I went into this ready and having a firm belief that God would be by my side and He said it was the right time to do this. I had tried to have it done years prior and was denied and did not fight. When I tried this time I was approved in a very short time and in my heart I knew it would all be OK. I am here if you need to talk to vent or have any questions. The butterflies and anxiety are perfectly normal!
