Thanks everyone!
I have had the happiest of days! I took my kiddos for their well child checks. My sweet Aimee braved FOUR shots and a finger stick--such a good girl! She's now all ready for Kindergarten next year (wahhhhhh). So, then we went to Dulles Town Center Mall and let the kids ride the merry-go-round--seriously we went for that purpose only.
Then, we went to my favorite eatery--Olive Garden! I can hear Ann laughing right now...I did NOT ask them to put my soup in the blender on this go round...LOL. I enjoyed a very rare treat (a mango martini) and it was soooooo good and I got sooooo tipsy because I do NOT drink! LOL
Then, we went to a local nursery because I have been wanting a Bonsai tree...strange desire but, we all know how very "normal" I am. They didn't have one that I was impressed with...so, we sat at the Koi pond and enjoyed the fish for a bit and then came home.
When we got home, I put my jammies on and snuggled up on the couch for a little power nap.
The ONLY thing that would have made the day better was if I had been with all of you too! That and I cannot for the life of me find Berries and Cream Starburst and I was absolutely dying for one or two today!
