Welcome to Sunday!
I had one of the best Valentine's Days EVER! Kara was not really in the best of moods, thanks to the psycho, but we tried to make the best of it. I woke up to her having crawled in bed with us and all of the dogs. We all laughed, cuddled and cut up for a long time before actually getting up. After that all curled up on the sofa, covered up and watched a movie. Then it was time to get ready to go and do something...so we decided to go to eat an early dinner. It took us fovever to decide what to do but about 3:30 we ended up deciding to go to Outback Steakhouse to use some gift cards we had. My mom and dad both came with us! The food was great, the convos and company was even better and we all had a blast! After that we went to a local ice cream place and had desert. They have the best sugar free sherbert (cherry) that I have ever had in my life! Then it was home for more laughs and convos and just vegging out.
Today will be a busy one! I am leaving for work in a bit then it will be home for a few hours of sleep. I have to go to Costco, pick up some clothes from a friend, pick up returns and get all of the billing straight and the returns entered into the computer for work. I don't think I will be making it to church, Unfortunately. I do have plans to vegge out an watch the DAYTONA 500 and hoping and praying that Dale Jr does well (hopefully wins!) and that Tony Stewart will also have a great day.
Sometimes I feel like it is never ending but if I get most everything done today then hopefully I can have at least part of Monday to rest. It is a holiday from work so...gotta enjoy at least part of it!

Life could not get any better than this!
My Valentine's Day was great. Woke up to Cameron with flowers, (wild flowers) and a stuffed elephant that he named Ella. I got a dozen roses from the guy I've been dating, as well as a stuffed bear, balloon bouquet, Kasey Kahne stuff and a peridot and diamond necklace that matches the ring he gave me for Christmas. After dinner, we came back to my house, relaxed on the sofa and watched "Space Buddies". If you haven't seen it, it is adorable.
Where is this place that serves sugar free sherbet? The other day I was in Kroger and saw that they have a limited edition ice cream, I believe it was Edy's, and it was girl scout thin mint flavored. Ever since that, I have been craving sweetness. I'd love to try it.

I got my gifts and my flowers and my plants like always...I know I am well loved and spolied! I did not wake up to it but honestly I could not have been in a better place yesterday morning. I know it sounds plain or dumb to some but it is EXACTLY what I wanted/needed. Just some down time with those I love!
Geleti Celesti Ice Cream over here on this side of town. They aren't cheap...$8.00 a quart I think...but so very worth it! It is small, family owned and delicious. I adore the cherry flavor.
Hope you enjoy the race, too. I am getting things together for our annual Daytona 500 party/get together. Lotsa cooking involved there...but I am having a blast!

Nothing wrong with being spoiled. I tend to think I am too. It doesn't matter how or when you got it. The important thing is that you were thought of!
I've been to that Geleti Celesti before,last summer. When I went there, the only sugar free sherbet they had, at that time, was tangerine or some other orangey flavor. I tried it, it wasn't bad. But I'm not a huge orangey flavored person. I guess, since they make it themselves, they change up the flavors. I will have to go up there and buy a bigger quantity than just a bite or 2, so that I can have some for home! I love cherry. And so does Cameron.
Have fun at your party. While I wont be rooting for Jr, I'm sure to have fun teasing my bff with snide remarks to her because she will be rooting for him! Have great family time and R E S T!!!

Dale Jr is my fav then TonyStewart then I/we have a variety of who we root for...basically anyone but Kyle Busch! There are a few others we don't really care for but enjoy watching the sport. I am not sure if I can make Richmond this year or not. We have season tickets...already paid for...but Claire will only be a month old. We will see!
Yep...spoiled is good and for the record you can be spoiled in tons of ways...not just with gifts. The most precious gift I received is the gift of time with my family and being able to take my parents to dinner.
Yes, please pray for Adam's mother, She is horrible and psycho. He is "grounded"...no phone (which I oay for every month!), no computer or contact at all with Kara or us until he learns to "be a good son" and hug and kiss her and tell her how much he loves her. I never demand that from my child...I am good enough with our relationship that she says it on her own!
