Post-op & baby food

Hello everyone, my neighbor had surgery to help with her reflux, but was not willing to wait 6 months to have a RNY by pass, at any rate she has a lot of extra baby food, did any one eat baby food? Please keep me in your prayers, just a bit nerverous, trying to prepare for surgery.

I can only share with you what I was told by MY wl team. Baby food does not have enough protein, vitamins, or nutrients to sustain the needs of an adult wl patient. I asked the same question, so don't feel bad.

Good advice on the baby food, Ann. We just brought that up the other night in our group with one of our newbies. AND don't forget it tastes like POO! Happy Valentine's, girl. I know you will enjoy every minute of the day, like you always do!

And happy V Day to you too. I'm gonna have a good weekend. I'm sending Mike off to the farm for some much deserved R&R with his horses! He's been on business travel in Tampa all week & he needs to do some work with Cutter....bugga won't load on the trailer!! Besides, it gives me a few more uninterupted days to get some things done around here, PLUS Nino's gonna be sleeping in Mike's recliner for a couple more days anyway. Lastly, Mike earned HUGE good hubby points by bringing home a gorgeous diamond & aquamarine pendant for me for our 25th Anniversary/V Day. So yeah, it's all good!

I am feeling pretty good for the most part. Still feeling stressed and running myself ragged but what else is new, right??? I am just taking it one day at a time and things are getting better every time I assess them. God is Great and taking care of us as is in His plan! I am so happy to see YOU posting! No, we did not marry on V Day. We celebrate 2 anniversaries...Feb 9th is the 25th anniversary of our becoming a family (we lived together for 3.5 years before we married), & then Aug 29th will be our 22nd wedding anniversary.

Mike was gone for the 25th...this past Monday, so we didn't get to celebrate it together. I think he made up for it pretty well, though..lol.
