Good morning everyone! What's on the books for the weekend? Did you have a nice Thursday? Me? Well, I am exhausted and don't know which way is up at the moment! I have to go back to work today and I worked last night because Steve is still too sore to move. He has two appointments today for tests and my sister will be taking Kara to another appointment, too, Her jaw is jammed really bad and has a stress fracture but thankfully does not need wiring shut. Steve is needing scans of various areas to check things out. He has a lot of bruised bones. Kara jammed both knees and bruised bones as well. They are both still hurting a lot and will be for a few more days I suspect but all-in-all things could have been a lot worse. I am grateful to you all for the prayers, phone calls, cards, PM's and e mails. You all rock...I love my family!

I feel like a "hermit" because I have not had much contact with anyone for the last two and a half days...hopefully I can catch up today!

As for this weekend...who knows at this point! I will be doing some cleaning and I am sure I will be working...maybe by myself. I have a holiday from work on Monday so I have some appointments for myself on that day and need to take the doggies to the vet for checkups/shots/preventive medicines. I also need to get Kara focused on making up her school work. She missed three days this week and has a bunch to be done. Nothing major planned...I really need some downtime! I do know I plan on sleeping/resting as much as I can. My body is telling me I am doing too much. Right now I don't have a choice...but I am taking every opportunity to rest. Please keep us and others in prayer. It is greatly appreciated!

Good Morning! Glad to hear your family is on the mend! Hope you guys have a great weekend & definitely get a chance to relax and be. My Thursday was pretty good. Had a relaxing evening at home. I am up and getting ready for work now but only going in for a few hours. I am taking some leave this afternoon and the hubby and I are off on a weekend getaway! I am counting the minutes. Can't wait to get away. Have a great one!!!!

OOOHHH...lucky you! Have a great time and post where ya went when you get back. Our Valentine plans are destroyed now but it is OK...I still have my Valentine and my beautiful daughter and that is all that matters!

hey tam! So sorry to hear about Steve and Kara. We're still dealing with all the same things here, except it just seems to keep getting worse. I hope when it's all over and done with I don't have to see a hospital for a long time. I think i'll take Allie to Chuck E Cheese or somewhere like that this weekend just to get away from all the hecticness, for both our sanities. Hang in there, you know we love you! I'm just sorry I havent been around more to let you know i'm thinking of you.
