Welcome to Thursday!

Good morning all.  How was your Wednesday?  What's on the books for your Thursday?

Wednesday was a mixed bag for me.  Lots of emotions running thru my head and trying to make sense of things.  I worked the papers because Steve was in no shape to do it.  Thank God for my sister who offered to help me.  I got about three hours of sleep total before Steve's phone started going off and then I was awake and could not go back to sleep.  It was a nonstop day after that.  We had to meet with the insurance company, the adjustor, the tow lot to get personal items from the van and take pictures, meet with Steve's boss (it was a company van) and I had a class scheduled at the hospital.  I got home about 10 and crashed until 12:30 when I had to get up to work again.

On the books for today...taking Kara to the dentist. She has fractured her jaw.  We did not know this originally but new injuries have come to light.  She has to have a full panoramic xray taken to determine the seriousness and then we can decide on a line of treatment.  I also have to swing by her school and get her work for this week and make a follow up appointment at the pediatricians office.  There is some laundry to be done if I feel like it and a trip to the grocery store to get Kara some pudding, jello and soups for soft food consumption, too.  I am headed to bed now to get a little rest before she wakes up.

I have not been on here at all yesterday so hopefully I will be able to have some time to catch up on the posts at some point today.  Please know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Prayers coming your way Tammy!  Make sure to take care of yourself & Froggette too!!  My Wednesday was okay.  Managed to make it through work and it was a quiet evening at home for the most part (a couple of quick errands).  Not much on for today other than getting the girlies this evening & work today.  Hope you have a great one!!!!

Oh Tammy. I am sorry she is more hurt than thought. Remember to try to take care of yourself too. You have that bun in the oven that needs you too! I will continue to pray for you guys.

I called in sick to work again today. I am hoping I just have a stomach bug, but I have been vomiting like nobodies business. I will call Jeannine if it continues, but want to give it time to work itself out too though.

So I will be sleeping all day with trash can near me. I do have to get up long enough to get Alex to school and that is my only plans.

Good morning sunshine, Sorry to hear about Kara's jaw  ,prayers continuing as always for you and your family.  Sounds like you have alot to do today, Try and get some rest if you can manage to sit down for a few minutes. 
I have a drs. appt. today at 11:30. I am going for my year check up which is Feb.18 was my surgery date. I have a good feeling about today .

Tammy, I am keeping you, Steve, and Kara in my thoughts and prayers. None of you needs this kind of challenge!

Speaking of challenges, we have been handed a BIG one this week, out of the blue (as the worst ones usually are) and I am not dealing with it well at all. I am trying, but the self-talk is out of control and the HATERS are out in my head big time. I am just praying for peace, strength, and a better path for us than the one we are on right now. I hope there's a light at the end of this tunnel, because it sure is dark and sad in here.

Today will be much the same as yesterday - trying to find answers, praying for strength and guidance, and trying to remember how much I love my husband and son. Please send me some virtual hugs, 'cuz I could sure use them!

I'm thinking of you all and trying to remember that giving support here makes me feel good and asking for support here is okay. Thank you everyone.

Mary, my love...so sorry to hear that you are weathering rough seas right now.  If I may offer some encouragement, remember that for every negative there is always a positive.  Try not to focus on the negative & seek out those positives.  They are there...just look for them.  You're a tougher gal than you give yourself credit for.  As for the hugs, always!!  Keep us posted.
