Welcome to Tuesday!

Good morning!  How are you?  How was your Monday?  What's on the books for your Tuesday?

Monday for me was torture!  I left the house early, like a normal Monday and went to work.  Things were slow going and I got behind.  I made it to my real job right on time with about 30 seconds to spare.  Thankfully it was not slammed busy...but busy enough.  I had a nice and productive day.  I was ready to leave work at 5 but got a call right as I was ready to sign off.  Of course it was one of those calls and I was there for 30 minutes dealing with that.  I finally got on the road to finish billing about 5:40 and that put me getting home at 8:30.  I finished the paperwork and computer entry and promptly went to bed.  Of course the sellp fairy was not kind to me once again!

On the books for today is work till 5 then a few errands.  After that it is home to do a load or two of laundry, cook dinner and spend some time with Kara.  Adam's mom is still being psycho so Kara is very upset/depressed.  Please pray for us, him and the psycho woman.  Adam is a sweet kid that does not deserve this!

Enjoy this fabulous weather...i know I plan on it.  I am going to have Steve cook on the grill!  I just love grilled food!

Glad you are doing pretty good. I am getting ready for work and will be training today and tomorrow so that will be fun. Then on Thursday I have to do the opening by myself. Praying for Adam and all of you and hope that the psycho women will come to her senses really soon.

Soak up that training...the opening is not that big of a deal...I could do it in 30 minutes once the drops were opened!  You will do fine.  Thanks for the prayers...we all need them!

Morning Beautiful!  Sorry that your Monday was yucky!  Hope things will be better today for you.  My Monday was pretty rough too.  Got a late start for the mornng which kind of messed my whole day up, busy at work, etc.  Got home wanting a quiet evening to chill, didn't happen.  Our little bird collapsed in his cage and died while we were in route to the emergency vet.  At that point we had a few friends call with some issues, etc.  Definitely a full moon day.  So hoping today will be better.  Hope you have a great one!

I am sorry your birdie died.  WE recently lost one, too (and it was my favorite!)  We have a cage full of white doves.  This one was the first one I ever got and he was a banded male.  I am praying all of us have a better Tuesday.  Like you said...there certaintly is a full moon!  Love you!

Hey Tammy,
First and foremost, more prayers and hopes for the situation with Adam. Situations like this are so very hard to deal with. (which one of these foolish images is me giving you a hug??)

Anyway, I had a very reasonable Monday. I walked for 30 minutes at lunch and then walked again last night to a neighborhood meeting, so I felt very good about that. I spent time with some other women at that meeting and it was nice - it's really something that I have to work at. I am so comfortable being alone that I forget how affirming and fun it is to be with others. Isolation is a dangerous thing for me, so I am really making an effort to connect, either online (like these postings!) or physically. Just getting outside and going for a walk has been helping me to shake things up a bit for the better.

I am seeing progress with this extra weight gain coming off s l o w l y. But I'll take it. I did have a moment last night when dressing for the meeting where I got upset because two pairs of pants are still too tight. Weight regain really sucks - but it is a huge lesson in self-care and knowing what works for me (and what doesn't). Patience has never been a strong point for me, so this is challenging.

My cottage cheese pancakes have inspired me to try some more new recipes, so I will be getting some items today at the store, maybe stopping by the library and definitely getting in a walk today. I am holding close the many here who need some extra prayers and encouragement right now. Have a good day everyone!

Thank you so very much for the prayers.  A lot of us are dealing with things (some more than others) but we all need prayers daily.  I can't count the times during the day when I take a "time out" and pray for someone.  Prayers make my day complete...without them (and Him) I am lost!

I am so proud of you for walking!  I missed my usual walking time yesterday and my mood/attitude certaintly showed it!  I have already gotten in 45 minutes this morning and am hopeful I can walk at lunch outside today.  I always get spring fever in this type of weather and really feel the need to get out!  Yes, Isolotaion is a VERY dangerous thing.  I am proud of you making the connection effort.  I am free most evenings (Monday's and Wednesday's are out as well as Thursday the 26th) during February.  Let me know when you are free and we can meet for coffee, dinner or just convos!  I have really missed seeing you and am ready to catch up!  We can meet at the park and walk if the weather is good.

Weightloss is a slow process but with determination and strong will power you WILL get there.

Please share your newest recipes once you get them...I had cottage cheese pancakes for breakfast with fresh blueberries as the topping...YUMMY!

Have a fabulous day!

HI Mary!  I would love your recipe for cottage cheese pancakes.  Would you mind sharing?  This past week, I learned how to make egg drop soup and I love it.

Good morning beautiful ladies! Tammy, I'm so sorry you're still dealing with that psycho. Many prayers going up. Court, I'm sorry about your bird friend. We lost our dog last weekend so I totally understand. *hugs*
My Monday was pretty uneventful. Just hung out outside most of the day again. It was fabulous. I just adore being outside. I actually slept decently last night which was such a blessing.
Today is my first postop appointment. I have no idea what to expect and hope it goes well. The best news about it is that I will get advanced to mush food. YAY! I'm down 29 lbs. and happy as a pig in mud about that! Woot!
Have a great Tuesday!
