Up date on Jackie
Good evening everyone, thank you all so very much for your thoughts and prayers for my daughter Jackie. She has a broken pelvis, not 4 broken ribs like I thought but has 4 on the right side and more on the left side. She had an epidermal put in on her back so it would numb the rib cage area so she can move and breathe better, but she has so much pain in the pelvis. She is still in the critical care unit at Riverside Regional Hospital here in Newport News. I ask that you all continue to pray for her as much prayer is needed.
I will post her hospital number tomorrow and her address if anyone is interested in sending her a card.

Betty, I was thinking of Jackie when I was in church yesterday. The homily was about the power of prayer and the Sacrament of Healing which my church will celebrate in a couple of weeks. Our priest suggested we keep someone in mind this week who is suffering and offer up prayers of healing and strength. We also had the opportunity to say that person's name out loud during our Petitions ("Lord hear our prayer") and Jackie's name was in my heart and mind and on my lips as I continued to pray for courage and healing and an easing of her pain.

Regain over next 3.5 years to a high of: 166 lbs
Current weight: 135.8 lbs and heading back to 130 lbs!!
