TGIF!

Good morning, all.  How was your Thursday?  Whats on the books for Friday?  How about the weekend?

Thursday had it's ups and downs for us.  Mostly everything went well...work was good for the most part and there was a small amount of drama right as I was leaving the office compliments of Adam's mother but we got everything settled down and I think it all will work out.  I pray it does anyway.  She is crazier than crazy and I have a feeling she is going to make things miserable for a while for all of us, most importantly Adam!  Steve, Kara and I came home and I fixed dinner.  I skipped the laundry in favor of watching a movie...just the three of us.  We had a great time and laughed our butts off.  After that it was bed time, early!  Sleep was slightly better last night...but still not where I need it to be.  I am getting there!

On the books for today is much of the same.  I have to wor****il 5 then home for laundry and cleaning.  Nothing too major on the books so we will see where things go from here.

As for Saturday, I have to work tomorrow morning for 4 hours and then I am not sure.  I may be heading up to Jackies or I may have to stay here.  I have to see what happens with the family (including Adam) and I may have to stay here and work.  I just don't know yet.

I am praying Sunday will be a fabulous day.  I have heard that it is supposed to be 67 degrees here...and if so then we are packing up a picnic and heading to the park for some fellowship, fishing and lunch.  Of course I have to work somewhere in there...but I will find the time!

Hope everyone has a fabulous Friday and weekend also.

Prayers still going up for Betty and Jackie...I hope to talk to Betty later today.

Good morning! I am so sleepy, but yet can't sleep. Thursday was busy. I worked, got groceries, got Alex from school, homework, made dinner and went to cub scouts. I am feeling very lousy and can't wait for the spell to wear off. I am wondering if I caught a bug on top of everything else.

Today I need to clean, do laundry, get Alex ready for school and visit him at lunch today. I am just going to relax tonight. I think we will do a movie night.

Tomorrow I need to pick up a baby shower gift for a lady a work whose shower is Sunday and that's all I have planned. Being so sick this week, I am going to TRY and relax. Hoping it happens. We will see!

Have a great day everyone. We are praying for Betty. Let us know if you hear anything else!

What on earth are you doing up this early on your day off???  I am sorry you are still feeling bad.  I am praying you will be all better soon.  I had the crud, then Steve got it and now Kara is on the Z pack to get over it.  It worked it's way thru the entire house!

When you are done cleaning and doing the laundry at your house...want to come and do mine?  J/K...I actually love and look forward to laundry and housework!  Most days, anyway.  Yesterday I was not interested in doing any of it!

Try and take the time to relax...remember...you have to take care of yourself in order to be able to properly take care of others!

If I speak to Betty I will update as soon as I can.  I am still praying...she will have a long road of recovery in front of her.

Morning Beautiful!  My Thursday was okay.  Work was crazy as usual.  Had an issue with the washer at the condo so we had to call a repair man for that.  Back to School night last night for the oldest, new semester so she has new classes.  Not too much planned for the weekend, we have the girlies so I am sure there will be things popping up all over the place.  My newest niece arrived yesterday.  Kayleigh was born at 6:00 p.m., 7 lbs, 12 oz, 20 inches long, with a head full of dark hair.  Hoping I can go see her this evening.  Hope you have a fun day & weekend!!!!

Congrats on the new neice!  You know how I feel about babies!  She is a wonderful size and I am so happy for you and her parents.  I know about the "not too much planned but sure lots of things will pop up" agenda.  Kara called me this morning after I had gotten to work and asked that I take her shopping for some new shoes...so we will be headed there after work tonight.  Hope all is well with the condo and the repairman was able to get everything taken care of!

My hubby is home after being gone all week and that is such a good thing. I've been a hormonal wreck all week and it was good to cry and slobber all over him last night. We've already done 5 big 6 month + deployments and he's leaving for another one on the 21st. I swear to God  I  don't think I can handle it again. I'm freaking. I'm having horrible buyer's remorse with this damn surgery. I wish I could take it back. I want to just be fat and sit on the couch and eat what the hell I want. I know I will probably feel differently later when I can actually eat (although I'm terrified that I don't tolerate anything) and that my hormones are probably playing a huge deal into this but I cannot stand it. Seriously. I want my life back. Most of all, I don't want my husband to leave  again. Okay, bad day. Sorry. I'm sobbing all over  my dang keyboard. Stupid hormones.

Your horomones will kick in where they should be soon...and just think of how much FUN you and hubby can have ALONE after he returns!  You will have a whole new quality of life.  I am just grinning thinking of what you two can do!  I am here if you need anything...just call!  I hope to be down that way in a couple of weeks...and I want to do lunch with anyone that can make it!  I will keep you posted.  It DOES get better!

Hi all,

Well Thursday was a day of recovery after being at the Dr./hospital for 8+ hours on Wednesday. I had a terrible pain in my left lower abdomen. Labs and CAT scan later showed everything was normal, Dr. figures I pulled a muscle while sleeping. Gave me a muscle relaxant that has really worked, but gorked me silly yesterday.

Feel much better today and plan to go get some groceries with my mom (she'll do the lifting) and make a nice hearty beef stew for dinner. DH gets home tonight from a week long business trip and want to have a hearty meal for him in this cold! (23 right now      , the pool has a layer of ice on it!)

Other than that just some school work, rest and dinner.

Every one stay warm!! Spring is coming.... supposed to be 60 here tomorrow go figure this weather!!

Have a great weekend!

Feel better!  I hate taking muscle relaxers...they zonk me out for days!  I am glad you seem to be feeling better and enjoy the time with your hubby as he returns.  Beef stew sounds good...I made taco soup this morning and it is in the crock pot now!  Stay warm.
