Happy Monday!!

Morning everyone.  How was your weekend?  MIne was good.  I had hoped to relax a lot but ended up being very busy.  Got down & dirty & did some much needed cleaning.  Got  some errands done, my nails done.  We took a short trip out to see the house we have the offer on again (refresh our memories some).  Stopped by the condo to check on the tenant and watched the big game.  I do have to say I am so not ready for it to be Monday.  I am dragging this a.m. Not too much planned today.  Work of course & then one of my sisters & her hubby are coming over for dinner.

Quick annoucement:  I haven't had a cigarette since Friday night!!!!!!!!!!

Morning beautiful!  I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!!  Since Friday night is a HUGE accomplishment...especially with the game and all.  You go, girl.  I have faith in you.  It does get easier...at least for me it did.  It has been months for me.  In stressful times I still mentally want one...but am proud to say I have not given in and pray I never smoke again. 

I posted Saturday and Sunday about my weekend.  Honestly, yesterday was better than I had hoped.  I got everyone up at a semi-decent time (12:30...but they worked until 7) and we hit the ground rolling.  We all went and got returns and did some shopping while we were out.  We stopped at Gander Mountain because a few years ago we had gotten my dad a gun for Christmas and it was messing up some (bolt action that was not rejecting the empty cartridges) so my daddy had taken it to the gunsmith back in October.  Well...they told him last week that they had LOST his gun!  Steve knows several folks that work there...including the store manager...so we stopped in to talk to him about it.  Well, when we got there they were having an awesome clearence sale so Kara, Adam and I went shopping while Steve went to talk.  We got six huge bags of stuff for about $55.00...including some shoes and boots.  Then we stopped at the grocery store and stocked up for the week and home to cook and watch the game.  We had a great day and night...all doing family time!  

On the books for today is the same 'ol, samed 'ol.  I left the house about 4:30 to start work and have just gotten to my day job.  Will continue the billing this evening and hopefully be home by 7 at the latest.  No school today for the kids so Kara and Adam are hanging out at my moms until Steve or I get home.  Steve is gonna cook dinner for us and since we are all super tired from staying up last...I pray we all get to bed early.

My weekend was mostly boring. Watched tv and supervised dh doing laundry and cleaning house. LOL. He's back to work today so it's back on me. I was taking big advantage while I could.
Yesterday we went to a Superbowl party at some friends' house and having to smell everything and watch them eat all my favorite junk food was not so easy but I got through it and had a really good time anyway. Shock, I can have a good time without food being involved. Whodathunkit?

Today's plan involves dropping Nick off at school and running errands. This will be my first time driving. Wish me luck and an idiot free road cause I am imagining that having to stop on the brakes for any reason and lock my seatbelt up won't feel good right now.

Otherwise, everything's going good. I feel better each day. I'm losing weight like friggin' crazy it seems to me.  Holy crap. I'm mellllllllllllllllting. LOL! I even managed to sleep on my tummy for about 15 minutes last night. Woohoo!

Good morning, I went for a walk yesterday afternoon and then sat an watch some kids fly their kites. It was so nice outside I just wanted to stay outside and enjoy the nice weather.Hubby and I came home and got ready to watch the Steelers. My granddaughter Emily is a steeler fan also and she was on the edge of her seat the last 10 minutes of the game.  You could here her scream when they made the touchdown winning the Super Bowl, and of course so did hubby and I.
This morning went to the hospital for my bone scan and came home and ate some breakfast, then hubby and I are going to go for a long walk around lunch time. I am going to enjoy the nice weather because tomorrow it doesn't look like it is going to be very warm.
Tonight we are just going to relax and enjoy the evening.

That is awesome about the cigarettes , so proud of you . You will do fine. You made the first step by starting to quit, so you are on your way. Will say a prayer for you.
