Portsmouth Naval Support Group??? Thursday!!

Who's coming? I know we have several new surgeries and hopefully they will feel up to coming out. I can't remember what the topic is, but I go mostly to chit chat anyway.
 
I have some clothes to give away. Mostly Jeans and tops...all pants are petite as I'm 5'2"..and size 20-24...Tops are sizes 22/24-30/32. If anyone is interested let me know and I'll bring them.

Don't know if I'll make it, will probably depend on the weather. I have my 2week f/u the day before so that would be two trips to Portsmouth from NC two days in a row. Just have to see how my endurance is (us old folk don't bounce back the way we used to!)

I drove yesterday for the first time since surgery and wooo, after the trip I was wiped. Hopefully will be even better by next week, so just depends on the weather!!.

Maybe I will come. Depends on if I can drive by then. I haven't attempted driving yet but I think I'll be off pain meds by tomorrow. Is it a good group worth going to Christy?

I enjoy going to the meetings I have only missed a couple since I started attending last March. People there can really relate to everything you are going through. Most people bring their before and after pics to share. We have a different topic each month, but I forget what this month is supposed to be. December was a nice potluck of WLS friendly foods and a clothing exchange. They also did WLS trivia...about nutrition and such post op.

It's fun...you should attend of you can.

I would love to come but didn't plan on it. I work here at the hospital so it would be nice to go.  Is it the first Thursday every month? And what time? Thanks for the info.

Yes the meeting is the first Thursday of the month, it is at 7:00 PM. I am not sure if I will be there this month. but I am going to try.
