Update on Jamie

Jamie is still in a great deal of pain.  They finally got her stabilized on a a painkiller (liquid percocet) that took the edge off.  She is slated to be released today, but hasn't heard anything to confirm that.

She is working diligently on getting in the requested 8oz of fluids per hour but with being tired from the meds, keeping up with that schedule is making feeling rested challenging.  She is really trying so she stays hydrated.

She is having a bit of "buyers remorse" feeling this pain, so it would  be really nice if anyone who has a few minutes today could check in with her and show your support.  She can be reached at 757-953-4193 in Room 16B.

Glad she is doing alright.  I have been worried!  I had the buyers remorse...on day three post op.  I was asking myself what I had done!  Thankfully, it passed quickly and prayers that it will pass quickly for Jamie, too.  Send her my love!  Thanks for posting.

Thanks for posting about Jamie, i'd love to call her but i still have an ongoing coughing issue, and it would not be pleasant for her to try and talk to me!  Give her a big hug from us, she is still in my prayers.  Lauren, could you PM me her home addresss?  I'd love to send her a card.  thanks so much, lys

Poor thing. I will continue to pray for her. I still have buyers remorse. lol
