FFP Upcoming Events
This year we would like to have a Picnic and a Christmas Party. The picnic will take place in June or July. Melinda has spoken with someone who owns a time share at the Wilderness (off of Rte 3). This would be a good location for all of the groups (Fredricksburg, Richmond and Charlottesville) to get together. We will have more discussion on this as the time get closer. Melinda, Jackie and Ruth will be working on getting a date line up. There will be cost associated with doing this and everyone will have to help if we want to make this a success. Kimmie Harlow has volunteered to be the Treasurer. Amecia Matthews has volunteered to make us a nice fancy box/jar to collect donations at each meeting to help with the cost of the picnic. We will have more discussion on this. If anyone has any ideas or or want to volunteer for anything to help raise funds for the picnic please let us know. There were 2 ideas to raise money for the Christmas party. Ruth will make a Queen size Quilt to be raffle off at the Picnic and Alma is in charge of the Silent Auction. If you have any items at home that you want to donate to the Silent Auction please bring them to the meeting each month and give them to Alma. So Please volunteer to help make these 2 events a great success.
