Concierge medicine (politically correct term is "Direct Care") :

Is it worth the $1,500 to $1,900 annual membership?

I have gotten two referrals for PCPs and they both now practice only Concierge medicine.

I have never heard of this being mandatory. My old PCP tried this and when he lost so many patients (myself and hubby included) he dropped the fee.
