WELCOME TO THURSDAY YA'LL!
Good morning, beautiful! Prayers for you to get that to-do list accomplished and hopefully make it to the park, too!
Yesterday was weird for me. Still fighting the sick fairy (got antiobotics on Tuesday PM) and having worked all night with Steve...I was a lazy ass! I could not get my rear in gear. I crashed after getting Kara off to school and Steve off to work and I mean crashed hard. I woke up feeling weird since I never sleep that late and grabbed my shower. I had two errands that needed to be done...but pawned them off on Steve instead. I had no energy to do anything. I managed to do two loads of laundry and have lunch with Steve (he cooked!) and made it thru half of my yoga DVD. I picked Kara up from school and we took her new puppy to the vet for shots and a checkup. I had to find a new vet...all the way in Mechanicsville...because my usual vet wanted almost $300.00 to see her! I ended up paying about $70.00 for the same treatment! We have to go back in 3-4 weeks for round two of the shots and I think since she is so young that we will have to get four rounds total. It was my moms birthday so Kara and I stopped off to get her a cake as a surprise and I needed to grab a few groceries, too. I got some FAGE and fruit, milk and some snacks and dinner for Kara. Took my mom her cake and got a huge surprise...my brother, both sisters, neice and nephew were all over so we all got to celebrate with her! It has been years since we were all together for a birthday...unless it is preplanned! After that, Kara got dinner started for her and Steve and I ran out the door for class #3 at the hospital. It was tour of the birthing center night...and I was greatly disappointed! Everything they showed us and talked about I already knew because of when Fiona was born! I was really looking forward to learning something new and exciting! We have one more class in this series and then we have two other classes as well. St. Mary's offers a FREE infant CPR class. I am trained in this already but Steve is not so we will take the class together. The other is with a lactation consultant...just for a refersher! These classes will take us thru the end of February. Not sure I will feel like doing much of anything in March! When Steve and I got home we ended up on the sofa with Kara and all four dogs watching Law and Order! It was a blast...and family time we all needed!
On the books for today is nothing too special. I am working until 5 then I have to go and get Adam and go to Verizon...his phone is messing up. Mine is, too, so I will kill two birds with one stone and get them both taken care of! After that it is filling up the van with gas, cooking dinner and doing some laundry. Then I will take Adam home and hopefully hit the sack a little early...at least by 10!
Have a fabulous day! Love you much!

Life could not get any better than this!
I know I have been MIA here, my space & Facebook. Leo has been battleing (sp?) health issues. Kristin was home from college for 6 loooong weeks and Doug has been busy on the scholarship application, college app and interviews. In fact he had an interview at Berklee College of Music in Boston and should find out the results soon. AHHH! My baby is grown up!
I love, love, love my job! i am the activity center leader at a local school for the before/after school recreation program. Planning games, activities, arts and crafts for 60 kids has me hopping even during my off hours. I was honored the STARFISH Award from Virgina Beach Park and Rec for my efforts to include children of all abilities. The meaning behind the name of the award is on my profile.
It's good to be back!

Life could not get any better than this!
The morning began with a wonderful session in Physical Therapy. Now that I am three months out, my knee is working wonderful. I am caneless and painless. Life could never be better. Now I need to challenge myself to use the knee I have.
One of the athletic trainers was a pro football player...I was star struck.
After my workout, it was off to work. Work went well, was able to get alot done. The residents are always happy to see me, which makes me feel good. With the weather on our side, we had a great time.
Now I am watching ER... ER is ending at the end of February. Not looking forward to that.
Tomorrow is going to be another great day. Hope to clean up the yard and put away boxes in the shed. Saturday will include a Meet and Greet at Ruby Tuesdays.
Peace,
Cindy
