Thanks to all

Hello all,

Thank you all for your well wishes during this difficult time. I miss my mom so much that I ache. This is the hardest thing I've had to deal with. I think I was strong in the beginning, but now I'm mad at the doctor taking care of her. She was in the hospital for 4 days vomitting. She was so sick and he did nothing. About 11:00 on Sunday night they called for the ER dr to come to her room after my sister insisted that they do something to help her. He immediately sent her for a CT scan. While in the CT machine she choked on her vomit.  We later learned that she had a bowel blockage that was causing all the vomitting.

I just felt like sharing this tonight. Thanks for listening.

Penny - i'm so very sorry for all you are going through.  I lost my dad years ago, but that was due to a long illness, i'm so sorry for your loss, you'll continue to be in my prayers as well.  lys

Thanks Lys. I'm sure it is hard to see a parent suffer in pain as well as an unexpected loss.

Oh Penny! I am so very sorry for your loss and for all the pain and suffering that you are going through. I pray that as time goes on, the pain lessens. God took her home and now she is watching over your family. Hugs out to you hun & prayers for you!

Oh Penny - no wonder you are so upset at their incompetence....... I feel so bad for your loss.

Maybe you need to consult an attorney - it won't bring your mom back but might make you feel better for doing something and if someone else comes in with the same symptoms,  that doctor will look at the bowel much earlier... You may save someone else from the same pain that you are suffering from now.
