WELCOME TO MONDAY YA'LL!

Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Great I hope. How was your weekend? Ours got better and better. It was mainly time with the buggas, myself & nature mixed with just over an hour of "me" time outside in nature and yes in the winds and chilly temps. Planning has been underway for the birthdays coming up this week as well as a big to do this Friday & a birthday party Saturday. Got things on my To Do List to get.

Saturday was interesting. Got up early, grabbed a shower, headed off to get groceries. Sigh. Van breaks down, dad has to jump it with his truck. Those who truly know me know that I have "issues" with wearing coats a lot of the time. Unless its a blizzard I'm a hoodie gal or t-shirt and jeans. Well, I wasn't dressed for the weather and the wind was crazy cool. Got jumped, came home and unloaded groceries. Took some time to talk some things out with my favorite rockstar. Later in the pm my cell takes a nose dive (again) so I have to deal with that. I give up in the middle of the evening and take refuge in nature. I wrote deeply for the first time in several weeks. It was awesome. :) Then it started drizzling and the winds got more intense. Headed inside and the buggas & I watched The Goonies. So cute. The rest of the pm was cleaning house & hanging with the buggas.

Sunday was nice. Sun was really intense yet still windy. The buggas & I went to breakfast together, ran into my sister & her fiance, have a good time finishing our breakfast then headed to the park for a couple hours. We had so much fun. We walked and walked and it felt great to do so. The 3 of us played on the slides, the rings, the climbing things there and we walked around to see the animals but they were cooped up. Last but not least was the ducks. They were giving us a show with their cleaning methods and we were goofing off around the lake. Then back to the car, home, lunch then watched the rest of the Karate Kid movies. Kayla & I loved it. Nora was scooting and goofing off. Later in the pm I worked on more laundry, chatted with some folks online since my cell is still tarded (which helped me tremendously due to my not dealing well with some folks who have little regard for anyone but themselves and a few selfish folks), then got the buggas to bed, me to bed and here we are.

What's on the books for your Monday? Today my daughter's doc's office and I will become very connected. I'm not happy about their lack of communication. So, I plan to let them know just how much its not appreciated to not call someone back. This is a child, my child we are talking about. This will be fun. I've got several To Do List items to get to, more phone calls, getting work out of the way so I can enjoy my pm. I'm chock full of bluntness today so it will be interesting today for me. I hope everyone enjoys their Monday! All best!

Morning Beautiful!  Sounds like you had a good weekend.  Blunt can be good, sometimes you have to do what you have to do.

My weekend was pretty good.  Friday was an early day out of work to get my oldest to the dentist which ended up being a long appointment.  We headed home afterwards for a quiet night.  Saturday the oldest & I headed out to do some shopping.  What a nice way to spend the day.  Saturday night was another quiet evening at home.  Yesterday we all went house hunting.  Found one that I think we all liked and are putting an offer on.  Another short sale so we will just have to sit back & wait some more.

I have to admit that I am a bit stressed out.  There are attitudes at home, mostly due to stress levels but it is getting a bit out of control.  Hubby is too easy with it as he thinks we should just be understanding and let it go.  I can understand it to a point but boy do I get tired of it.  I think it needs to be addressed & put in place so that we aren't the brunt end of it so much.  We shall see what happens.

Just work planned for today and who knows what else for the evening.  Hope you have a great one.  Love you much!!!

Good morning, beautiful!  I am so glad you had a wonderful weekend!  Ours was pretty jam packed but I have to admit that I loved every minute of it.  I am so proud of you for keeping on the docs about the lack of communication.  They need to be more understanding...like you said...it is someones child and it could be theirs!

Friday was a very late night at work...I was in the office till 8 every night last week but Monday!  After that it was home to spend some time with Steve, Kara and Adam.  We had a late dinenr and watched a movie then all crashed.  Actually, we all fell asleep in the living room!  The alarm went off at 12:30 for Steve to go to work.  Kara and Adam went with him and I stayed at home and slept.  It was the first Saturday since October that I got to sleep thru the night!  After that it was up around 7 to get ready to go to work.  I worked 8 AM to 8 PM at my Saturday only job.  It was super busy...we had a record day!  But it really made the day go by faster.  I got home about 8:30 and Steve and I watched some TV and I did some laundry.  We crashed about 10 and then got up around 12:30 to go to work.  I went but did not do very much.  We got home around 6 and went to bed again.  Got up later (have no clue what time!) and went and grabbed some lunch then Steve and I went to get returns.  After that it was a trip to Roses in Ashland (I have not been in there in about 8 years!) then off to Costco to get dog food and some necessities.  We also snagged Steve's birthday cake since they sell his favorite.  Then we went home and visited with my mom for a bit and my brother came over.  He is still in a ton of pain and is bruised up pretty bad but is doing much better considering.  I got my dad some new shirts at Costco.  He has lost about 35 pounds since surgery so most of his old shirts are way too big now.  Steve and I came home about 7 and he counted and tied papers while I got the billing together for this morning.  We crashed about 10 again.

Fast forward to this morning...the papers got there at a wonderful time and Steve was home by 4:30 to go to bed...just as I was getting up!  I got a good amount of the billing done already and have a bit more to do this evening.  I am already at my desk for the "real" job and am loving the start I have had so far...everything is falling right into place after a fabulous weekend!  Now I need to catch up on the boards and a few other things before we get slammed!

Have a fabulous day and I will message you in a bit...

Love you much!
