Do they EVER answer the phone or call people back????? I have yet to get an answer or a call back. It's sooooooo aggervating!

Seems to be a lot of that going around lately...thankfully my surgeons office is not like that...even at almost 4 years post op!

Yep- I have called and left messages on various voice mails...UGH, so aggervating. I have an appt with Norfolk Surgical Group, but also wanted to meet with Center in Newport News. I mean, seriously, how many times should I have to leave a voice mail? Once, I think.

I'm so shocked at all the postive remarks about this place and I have yet to recieve one call back from the 3 voice mails I have left on 3 different staff members voice mails. Makes me wonder if it's this difficult just to speak to someone...do I REALLY want them taking care of me in my time of need??? Just venting I guess. I mean, I do have an appt scheduled in Norfolk, but still...I didnt want to only check out one place, I like having options. I'm pretty dissapointed with the way they are conducting business.

This is really bizarre. They have always called me back, like seriously right away. The surgical coordinator even called me once from her home because she couldn't get me at work.

Hi, sorry you're having such a hard time. I've never experienced anything like that with them. When I first got started, I scheduled myself online to a seminar. That's how everyone gets started, you go to the seminar first. Apparently the seminar date I picked was full, so someone called me to reschedule. At the seminar, I then made my first consultation with Dr. Clark in about 2 weeks. It all moved pretty fast. I suggest you go on-line and schedule yourself for a seminar. Hope this helps!

I just want someone to call me to see if I "have" to attend the seminar. I know at Norfolk Surgical I dont since it's a revision issue. The only requirement there is that I have an Upper GI prior to seeing one of the Dr's there.
I see your point, but I would think that with the # of voicemails I have left that at least one person would have called me back.
