Hi there, Jackie told me about you and I am a revision patient from Lap band to RNY and it was the best thing I ever done. I was having a lot of problems with the band in keeping food down and acid reflux. After I had ruptured appendix the band deflated and of course I gained back 40 lbs of the 65 I had lost and I was depressed so I started all over with all the tests and other hoops you have to go thru and was denided on initial submission but was approved  on appeal. I should have had the RNY done initially and wouldn't have had to go thru this twice but I was chicken the first time out. If you have any more questions, feel free to contat me...Jim

I love your ticker! LOL
I have a RNY, and I have no idea what will happen with me, honestly I dont even know if there is anything "wrong" or not.  I know I dont feel the same as I used to, like "inside", but who knows what is going on.  I hope to find that out on the 23rd.  After reading the DS sounds great, but that isnt an option as I cant travel to a surgeon.  I'd be fine with just "fixing" whatever may be wrong.  Of course I want to loose the weight I have gaines, but I just want to feel good again.  I have a 2 yr old that I should be able to play and keep up with, at this point, I cant.  I just want my life back.

What kind of revision are you considering?  Have you looked at the Duodenal Switch?  You may get a lot more info on that board about that than here.

Hope to see you on the DS board.

Thanks, yeah, the DS sounds awesome, but I'm not able to travel for a surgeon, I have a sick 2 yr old and leaving the area just inst something we can do.  Even if just for a week or so.  I'm just kinda looking at different stuff right now, waiting to see what the dr says that I am seeing.
