House Update - didn't get it

So I wasn't able to post yesterday cause our internet was down. We heard from the realtor on Thursday and someone else had put an offer on the house that was quite a bit higher than ours and the homeowner had also submitted it to the bank. No way we could have competed with the price so we went ahead and withdrew our offer. We have appointments tomorrow to go look at more.

I have to admit to being a bit disappointed but at the same time I know it will happen when it is supposed to. The waiting was killing my hubby & girlies so maybe now we will have an opportunity to find something where there won't be such a wait.

Sorry you didn't get the house. I remember how disappointed we were when we were house hunting. We ended up with the perfect house for us that we could afford. Yours is out there waiting for you. Hope you find it soon!

I am sorry things didn't work out for you, Courtney. Hang in there -- another one will come along. I was in real estate for many years before taking time off to help my parents and I can tell you from experience that any home worth having is worth waiting for! Stick with it -- you'll be surprised how things will work out! :)

Courtney I am so sorry you did not get the house but I bet you will get a better one soon - the ecomony is such that there are still many houses out there that are bargains......

I am sorry that you did not get the house...but a better one will come along. This was just God's way of telling you it was not the right house for you! Glad you are still looking...and putting in another offer so I read...you will get the right house when it comes along!
