Food Intake

How much are you eating at one sitting? I am trying to eat small amounts but I still do not know how much to eat. So how do you all measure out your food or are you at the point you can just feel it?

I was just starting whole foods at 2 months out and still trying to measure out to about 4 oz.  Measuring cups & a meat scale were my friends.  It could take a while before you feel it as those nerves are still healing from surgery & you may not feel the same feeling as you did before surgery.  Some indicators that some people feel are odd, a burp or a sneeze could mean you are full.  I can always tell when I am really full cause I get burps.  Stick to your measurements just to be safe until you start to feel it.

I measured and at two months out I was only eating about 2 ounces per sitting.  I made it up to 4 ounces by six months out but I never really wanted it.  I still use my scale sometimes but mostly just eyeball things.  I had surgery in 2005 so I have had lots of practice!  Your nerves have not fully healed and can still take several more months before they do so be careful.

The pretty ladies out here are awfully fun and enlightening to talk to.  They are very smart.
I recommend their advice.  But they are ladies and sometimes, just as they don't want advice from guys, if you'd like to talk,...I'd be glad to try and help you there buddy.
