Good am,

How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your Monday? Ours was a mixed bag. Things started off pretty well. I got Kayla off to school and got my cuppa and am rolling. Nora was in book heaven with her Story Reader series and I got busy with my To Do List. I had a horrible time focusing yesterday. I had the worst headache (positive its stress/tension) and around noon time Kayla's school called. She had a "moment" so Nora & I went to calm her down and reassure her everything is fine. She made it through the rest of the day and her teacher said she did all right. Have some weird things going on with me so I'm cautious today. Not feeling sick but "off." Anyhow, last pm was dinner out for once just me & the buggas and it was nice. Then back home for homework, into jammies and off to bed early. I'm glad we all went to sleep fairly early. We needed it.

What's on the books for your Tuesday? I'm having some techies come & fix my laptop this am, then talking with Kayla's teacher/counselor at school then some errands to get to in the pm. I hope to get by the bookstore and use a gift card I have to pick up a couple books. I have a lot to get done so I suppose I should get to them. Hope everyone has a WONDERFUL Tuesday!

Good Morning, Sunshine.....

Well...I'm getting ready to jump into the shower and head out the door.  Have to go to Fairfax today to check in with Dr K.  I must say that I am SO happy with the results so far.  My legs look really good - bruised (another round of bruising going on right now), but thinner.  And my breasts....nothing to say

So, I don't plan on getting home until later - ugh.  Fortunately, I got the guys a pizza for dinner.  I'll have grilled chicken salad.  In fact, I started planning it last night was began craving it - haha.

Then, tonight is the season premier of the new Biggest Loser.  Can't wait.  I've become a real fan over the past few seasons and now...well....I ......

Well...guess I should run.  Enjoy your day, Sweetie!

Morning Beautiful!  Sounds like you have things under control & working on making it good.  My Monday was pretty good.  Managed to get right into the dr.  Sinus infection of course, new meds, some advice on things as well.  Dr. is going to look into the Chantix angle, talk to my surgeon, etc.  I also talked to the surgeon's office & got the details I needed.  Got the girlies last night as their mom wasn't feeling well & needed a break, due to no school today we will keep them through tomorrow.  Wish I was able to stay home with them but alas I must go to work.  Hope you have a great day!  Love you much.

Good morning, beautiful!  Iam so glad you all got some rest...I/we worry about you all!  I can't wait to see the Story Reader things Nora has and I am glad things settled down with Kayla at school and she made it thru.

Monday was a mixed bag here, too.  With my brothers accident late Sunday night and him still being at the hospital and billing and my dads blood work and following issues and then more billing and the fact that I am under the weather...I have been running ragged!  Steve, Kara and I did take a little time for ourselves last night once things settled in and we went to dinner, just the three of us, too.  It was fabulous.  We had time to just "be" and even though I love having tons of people around and joining us...sometimes it is just nice to have only us there.  We need that occassionally!  We got home and Steve started watching TV and I finished the paperwork...much easier this week than it has been in the past several weeks...and we went to bed about 10 ish.  I did get a fabulous card in the mail and it was such a nice surprise!  I love getting mail that means something...not bills!

On to Tuesday...and I pray the storms have settled for a bit and we all have a fabulous day.  Dad got four units of plateletes and is still feeling better.  They will redo the labs this morning and we will know more later, hopefully by early afternoon.  Turns out his blood thinners were way too strong of a dose!  My brother is even more sore than yesterday, but that is to be expected.  He is taking his pain meds and finally was able to eat dinner last night.  Of course he is sleeping a lot but that is what he needs right now.  As for me...I am feeling better.  I have been drinking 150 oz of non-caffiene beverages each day so I think my kidneys are getting a pretty good flushing.  I am also still taking the antiobotics so I am sure that does not hurt.  I have my checkup this afternoon with the OB and then I have to return to work.  I will be working open to close all week since we are so slammed...but the OT will be fantastic especially since I have to fill my oil tank very soon!

Hope you have a fabulous day...enjoy your errands and the trip to the book store!  I will be behind you soon I hope...maybe this weekend!

Love you much!

Good morning all!

Tuesday is usually a very good day for me!  It is my day off, and today I am just taking it nice and slow.  Finally got my treadmil work in at 8:30 AM and plan to clean and mop the kitchen soon before my shower.

The best part is I expect to get in a good nap this afternoon!  I love it!

Have a good day all!

Good evening to all of you.
Healing takes time, and everyone heals at a different pace.
Today began early as I had to be at work at 9am. Glad to see that we only had ice, though I was prepared.
Before going to work, I stopped at my favorite spot for coffee. Then it was to the group home. Got lots of paper work done and was able to get one of the guys into Special Olympics Basketball.
Now I am home, waiting for my pot pie to bake. After my first 8 hour day of work in 12 weeks, my knee is feeling achy but okay. Nothing some ice and stretching can't cure. I am feeling tired, but content.
Looking forward to watching A Biggest Loser and getting a good night's sleep.
Tomorrow I am off...physical therapy and a B-12 shot are in order! Yippee!
    Peace,
    Cindy
