Well I have lost over 70 pounds in just 2 months. I have gone from a tight size 48" waste size to 42" waste size. I went to the Bass Pro Shop the other day and bought hunting cloths right off the shelf. Unreal.

I got up at 3:45am and went duck hunting with my son. He had been begging me to go for some time but at my size and not having any cloths, I kept telling him no. Got to the lake at 4:30am and put the boat in the water (22 degrees) and got our limit by 11am.

On Saturday, got up and went deer hunting (last day of season) I walked and walked through the woods behind our house. Normally I could not walk out to the truck without getting winded. Not sure how far I walked, but it was hilly, rough and no problem.

...so in the photo below, might not look like I have lost a lot of weight, but I had on three pairs of pants, three shirts, sweatshirt and two coats.

No dear on Saturday. Our children range in age from 7, 20, 29. I went duck hunting with the 29 year old. Our daughter age 20 would only go hunting if a guy in a jacked up 4x4 pickup truck asked her to go. :) Just kidding, I think. She is a junior in college and doing good. She has made the Dean's List each semester.

But our 7 year old was the main reason for the WLS. He keeps me going from the time he jumps out of bed. I took him deer hunting, or what we call deer hunting. We make lots of noise walking and talking out in the woods and just find a tree to sit under and hope a deer just happens by. We did see one and took a shot but he was too far away and I missed.

Good am Ken,

CONGRATS on 70 lb gone. Kewl about the hunting clothes. This year is the 1st year my Dad's been hunting in ages. He had weight loss surgery 6 months after me but also needed to overcome some physical limitations. He's done well & really enjoyed himself. :) Great pic!

I am so happy for you!  I love deer and turkey hunting.  We do it as a family...hubby, my father and myself as well as some uncles, cousins and friends.  I missed it this year since I am pregnant.  I remember last year when it was time to go shopping and I bought right off of the shelf but the best time was when I was digging thru the box and found a shirt and put it on and hubby realized that it was the one he wore when he was 12!  Needless to say it no longer fits him and is all mine now!  I am so happy for you being able to do these things again.  You have many years to enjoy them now!  Great pic, too!
