HAPPY NEW YEAR'S EVE YA'LL!

How are ya'll doing? Good I hope. How was your Tuesday? Ours was all right. We hung around the house and relaxed (tried too) as much as possible. Kayla is feeling a lot better so that is good news. I got several things done that I wanted to and hoped for a restful/peaceful night's sleep. It was half and half. I gotten woken out of out sleep about 10:40ish pm and from that point on I couldn't really get back there good. At least I got a couple hours in. Another try this pm.

What's on the books for your New Year's Eve? For us, I'm going to be running some errands, getting some items on my To Do List started, worked on or finished and we'll see what the day brings. The buggas are up this am. Kayla & Nora are both feeling better and today I get to remove Kayla's dressing and see how things are going. This pm will be dinner and IF the buggas make it long enough seeing the new year in. For me, its bittersweet but I'll spare the details. I hope everyone has a WONDERFUL New Year's Eve!

Good morning, beautiful!  I am so glad Kayla and Nora are doing well.  I know it makes your job a bit easier!  I am still feeling like crud.  I have started on some meds and will be going in to the doctors today for some more.  I can not be down for weeks on end with this...how will I get all of my stuff done???  LOL..my life is to on-the-go for a sickness!  I have been up for a bit but just curled up on the sofa with a cuppa and tried to enjoy that.  I can't taste anything...but I think the hot liquid helped me some.  I plan on sipping hot tea most of the day if I can.  I am headed to the shower and then work for a full day...home at 5.  After that I think I will try for a nap and some house cleaning and then bringing in the New Year with Steve, Kara and Adam.  After that I will probably go to work with Steve just so we can have some time together...but I won't be doing anything.  This also depends on how I feel!  No huge plans for tomorrow...work is closed so I have a "free" day!  Happiest of all New Year's...on to a better 2009!

Glad your girls are feeling better.  Waiting on my daughter to get up and then we can head to costco (gift cards).  Nothing special planned, but will be hosting my daughter's 13th birthday party on saturday.  Here's to a great 2009 for us all!  lys

Morning Beautiful!  Glad to hear your day went well.  Hope you have a wonderful New Years!  My day was pretty good yesterday too.  My lawyer did his job well & got my ticket dropped to speeding with a $100 fine.  That is a lot better than the reckless it could have been.  After that was a bit of shopping with my stepmom, lunch with dad/stepmom, sister & her 2 kids, another sister & her 3.  It was enjoyable.  My nephew came home with me so that I could take him to grandpa's to spend the night but then he comes to my house tonight.  Plans for today are basically cleaning & such around home, picking up the youngest & my nephew, staying in tonight & having pizza & junk food, playing video games, etc.  We have invited a few people to join us so we shall see what happens.  Hope you all have a safe & Happy New Year!  May 2009 be full of joy & blessings.

Good morning sunshine, Yesterday was a good day with Emily. I took her home around 4 and got the youngest granddaughter who is 5. We had a good evening playing with her dolls and coloring. This morning around 11 we are going to the park so she can ride her scooter and I can get a walk in before the cold weather sets in again.
Tonight hubby and I will  be spend the evening together and bringing in the New Year.
I am so glad that your girls are doing better.I pray you get a good night sleep tonight.

Good Morning!

Nate is off of work today and we are enjoying the day together.  We have a plumber here right now and then will be waiting for someone to help us with the leaves and some yardwork to give us a quote.  I'm hoping he comes earlier rather than later.  Should I not hear from him by 11am I'm going to give him another call to see if he can button down a better time that he will arrive.  Should he be able to give us a smaller window we may go to the Tappahannock Antique Mall.  It is one of the best ones in the area, we really enjoy going becuase everything is neat, order and most important PRICED.  :)  We will see.

I've asked Nate if he would like to take a late night nap so he can stay up and enjoy the ball dropping with me.  Otherwise I will be ringing in the new year alone with me, the tv and the computer.  LOL.  It's his decision though...I understand completley if he doens't want to break up his nights sleep because he has to work tomorrow.

I'm also hoping my mom stops by today.  I have some cookies, an ornament and some pictures from Christmas waiting for her.  If not, I will drop them off to her later or tomorrow.

        So glad to hear that Kayla is feeling better. Soon she will be back to her self.
        The day began with going to the gym for physical therapy. For some reason my therapist was out of town, so I worked out in the main gym. I did get some ice and e-stim while in the clinic, which my knee likes very much.
         After working out, I headed to the bank to make a deposit and to the pharmacy to pick up meds. I also stopped at my favorite coffee spot for a smoothie. It was delicious!!! Also walked the downtown mall as First Night Virginia was taking place.  At 9pm, there will be a fireworks display, so I may go back to watch them.
Originally I was going to work an event in Carytown, but my knee was acting up and with the cold temperatures expected, I didn't want to take any chances. 
        For New Years, I will be working from 9am to 1pm. After that I may go to the movies. I would love to see Me and Marley.
