The sick fairy has plopped herself right smack on my doorstep! I feel like crud. I am all stuffy...feel that head cold coming on that will most certaintly turn into a sinus infection...ugh! I have a call into my OB right now to go ahead and get the antiobotics. I know when I am sick...froggy is sick, too. Hope noone else gets this mess!

Not quite liking the response I got from the docs office...it was to take any of the tylenol products and see my pcp if I still felt bad. well...I am good with the tylenol products...I don't want to over medicate or take unecessary drugs and want to take things that are safe...but since they termed me as high risk then shouldn't THEY be the ones to prescribe me anything that I take??? I will suffer as long as I can before I take things that are not 100% necessary. I have been assured that the tylenol is safe to take so I will start there.

I didn't think you'd like what they would tell you. Tylenol IS the best for us WLS wise and preggers wise at this point. I know, I know I went through a few things as well where I worried because of infection etc. However, my best suggestion to you is Tylenol Cold (NOT the multi-symptom ones without asking). I would ask that you call them back for YOUR specific situation and ask about Robitussin (it comes sugar free) as I was allowed to take that during my preggers journey with Nora. Just a suggestion so please call.

Yep...I asked about it all! I can take ANY of the tylenol products and the Robitussin, too, if that is what I chose. I am fine with not taking anything else...I am not fine with them pawning me off on my PCP. They are supposed to know what is best for Froggy. That is why I am going there instead of my PCP for my OB care! UGH!

I do understand. I find it interesting they said to see your PCP. That's not like them at least in my experience. I'm sorry. I really hope that it gets resolved with either Tylenol or Robitussin.
